I think ladies are just fed up with guys deciding what us giving up our bodies is actually worth.

I don't partake in the hobby a lot, but even the lower class places charge the same amount. I am more than happy to pay a bit extra for that extra mile that my favourite ladies go.

Now I haven't been with any of the PERB superstars (Kendra, Vienna et al) but from the reviews I am sure they are more than worth the premium they charge, if it can be called premium.

I was taken once early on in my pooning for $$$.5 for a CBJ so getting everything that I like for $$$ is a deal. Its all relative.

Somehow, I don't think this is the norm. I'll be lucky to get a 3% raise this year. I do however agree with the rest of what Kendra stated.

you laid it out with great detail and feeling. i have to agree with you after reading your note. i am not a person who goes to MPs but i do believe the pooners that do get great value for their $.

my main complaint is with the visiting independents who charge high rates just because they are in alberta and feel that we can pay any price they want to charge. it only follows that the local ladies see the success of these visitors and they in turn raise their rates. they believe they offer comparable service..and better in most cases.. and thus are entitled to comparable rewards..and the wheel moves forward and rates climb.

but to be honest the ladies are not at fault. they set a price for their service and are entitled to do so. the pooners on the other hand are the ones at fault. they extoll the virtues of the pricy visitor, they slobber all over this board about the money they paid for less than a-one service, and then line up to pay the visitor again. but then they too are entitled to do what they like.

so this is my last ever post regarding prices in this province. i will set a limit for myself and live with it. i will read the complaints over pricing here and chuckle...when the price gets to the point where i cannot in good conscience pay..i will quietly retire...ladies you deserve every penny we are willing to pay.

I have said it before and I will say it again, put the shoe on the other foot and lets see how many guys would service pretty much every woman who wanted to get fucked and pay us $200 - $300. Talk about short careers, we couldn't hold a match to the ladies in this busness.

Well said, Kendra. I also agree with Rescue911 coming from a pooner's perspective. Kendra's asking rate is very reasonable, especially for her. I would not hesitate to see her again given her past excellent service.

Do I think every SP out there deserve the Kendra's rate? No, and I have no interest seeing them.

We as customers need to understand that this hobby is expensive. Unless you have the means, you need to exercise some self-restraint. It wouldn't hurt to indulge in SPs less often, just to make those special moments more special.

Sad to see that you are leaving 50st, Kendra, but I am very much hoping to see you at your new studio. Hopefully you will be able to fit me into your busy schedule.

Being new to the hobby (end of November), I am amazed by the comments about pricing. I get to travel a fair bit with business and while I have only been to Vancouver after starting in this hobby, you are looking at an $80 room charge, then it is $$$.2 for FS. So you just dropped $$$$ for FS when you get it for $$.4 to $$.6 here. I personally think I get great value from my friends here in Edmonton.

The bottom line is Supply and Demand. As long as the Demand is there, new places are going to open and prices are going to be the same or increase. If you don't like the price, don't go and the demand will decrease and the price will follow suit. Just look at this past month where most of us were looking at RSP contributions and Christmas bills coming due, you had specials by 3 top ladies here. Vienna ran one during Valentines, Dakota ran a special one day and Gabrielle had her Cabin Fever Special. All I can say is thank goodness I do not live in Edmonton or I would have spent more this month than I wanted.

Kendra, I have not had the pleasure of meeting you, however after reading your well thought out post, I look forward to meeting you at the new studio at some point in the future.

Of course no one likes paying more for the same service, but from what I can tell the price increases at mp's don't seem out of whack with what inflation has been in Alberta for the last few years.

There are so many reasons why we charge what we do..... do we really need to get into it all over again? Maybe.

1 - We deal with some shady characters at times. Those who may have STDs, stalker capabilities, twisted personalities/fetishes/requests, rude people, unhygenic people, rip off artists, etc. etc. Just last week I had a super creepy man talking about choking me as he tried to force me to kiss him repeaditively.

2 - We face alot of judgement/backlash if anyone finds out/hears of/suspects what we do for a living. Yes we choose it, but does anyone else have to live a secret life and lie about their profession day in and day out? Living a lie is not easy.

3 - We need to get by in Alberta's ass-raping economy too. There are more contractors, etc. than ever before, but are they dropping their prices? Hell no, they keep going higher and higher. I have gave consistently good service for 2+ years, and my rate has only gone from $$.2 to $$.4. Don't I deserve a raise too?

4 - We DO pay taxes, and we have alot of expenses in this biz - hair, nails, tanning, make-up, clothing, heels, commuting to work, supplies for in the room, extra cell phones for you to reach us at, etc. Because heaven forbid we didn't keep updating our look/maintaining our appearance/service, we would get backlash for being "along the same lines as a chick I could pick up in a bar for free".

Most SPs enjoy their work, and if you don't, you will not make it or last. And quality SPs/owners strive to offer higher-end locations to customers to show the appreciation for their money. That is why a brand-new studio is being constructed. If you cannot afford or appreciate donating $$.4 to a girl who gives you all she has (literally), then maybe a lower class studio with lower grade SPs is where you will find the best VFM (in your case). You get what you pay for in this world, and I (alongside other SPs I am sure), am really starting to get offended that people don't think that me giving you 110% of all of me is worth $$ after I pay my room fee.
