I see a lot of fantastic reviews or comments about SPs from new member that have just joined w single digit posts. I usually ignor these, but are there legitimate reasons that some of these are legit?

That's where your experience kicks in and you start looking at the poster history . If you look at their posts and it turns out to be a single minded operation about a certain provider good or bad I become sceptical . I double check if certain points might be legitimate and let them be ...if it's a troll or an sp boosting their reviews it's better left for the moderator to handle the situation .

I''m guessing that many first time posters might have a similar experience to mine.

New to the world of SP/Escorts they stumble across one of the ERB's, look at the forums and reviews and discover that this world is more ligit than they thought. They're still nervous about legalities and scams so they don't create an account, just lay low and learn more from the veterans who post reviews and other valuable information. They never create an account and post because they really have nothing to contribute other than questions.

Finally the day comes, they find a girl they want to see, take the plunge, and

HOLY FUCK THAT WAS INCREDIBLE !!!! WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG??? I MUST SHARE THIS WITH THE WORLD!!!

Thus the first post is a review because:

A) they can't tell anyone else about the amazing experience they just had so it has to be done here;

B) they never had a reason to create an account and post before, but now they have something to contribute;

C) the review might be more positive because this is a whole new experience and they aren''t as critical / jaded as they may eventually become.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think u can read reviews if u don't create an account. You can only read ads and 411.

I was able to read ads, reviews and 411's and do searches without an account (I didn't realise that YVR was an exception to this) on all three ERBs. All very useful for a nervous newcomer.

This explains why some recent first posters have an account that was created a few years ago.

Of course the skeptical viewpoint could be shills creating multiple buckshot accounts and letting them sit dormant.

For a first post review most experienced members can tell if it's a promotional review or not.

First post was a review of a since retired SP and It was implied I was shilling. It was difficult to restrain myself and I spent some time thinking how to best reply as I had a serious case of what you might call "review rage". In the end I came up with a suitable indirect non-reply which undercut the shill accusation so well that I haven't seen the author on the board since. Always remember to be thinking in terms of the forum rules..

And that’s why there are strict rules against accusations of schilling, as has been said many times if you suspect a schill, report it and the moderation team will deal with it!

My first post was unfortunately dramatic because I had remained silent about all the other wonderful SPs that I had already seen. It was just a very bad experience with a serious headcase that was harassing me after ripping me off. I do share my good experiences here now to help the legit ladies find generous and kind gents though.

My first post was a review 🤷‍♂️ but i lurked for a while looking up reviews first. New members aren't necessarily a shill or love stricken and they provide a different point of view than veteran members.
You are right new members aren't necessarily a shill or love stricken. And newbie's do give a different perspective which can be a refreshing change. There are times where a "newbie" will jump in and post about a new or visiting girl then vanish to never be heard from again. Could it just be someone being nice sure, however, history has shown otherwise. And it's not just fake positives, you have some people with an axe to grind or want to hate on providers with negatives reviews. Now old timers can also write good or bad reviews with ulterior motives as well. I wish everyone was legit but ulterior motives happen in every industry.

I'm all for folks sharing, it helps the community as a whole but sometimes both providers and clients try to manipulate the system.

There are many lurkers who don't share and just read and that's ok. Just know that when your first few posts is a review many will be skeptical. Please don't take it personal, it's not you it's the impact of many shills who have come here.

I'll guess that many first posts, are long time lurkers who have read a bunch on perb, before they posted.

I am more suspicious of the ones that post their first post with a glowing review and who have joined only a few days previous.
I am specifically referring to the Vancouver review section where you have to join perb in order to read this section.
