You know it's hard enough to get medical students to identify parts of the body, without slang terms having to be "included".
The reality is most people don't give a fuck about other people's culture.
The Canadian culture is being changed by people who are literally on the "fringe" in normal Canadian society. When you push too far, the majority of people will start pushing back.
This poses a question of when a individual's rights and freedom impinge on the majority of other people.
The reality is that these trans and gay right activists are impinging on the rights and freedoms of the majority of Canadian society, in order to pursue their own individual rights and freedoms. Catch 22.
The biggest item today is boy vs girl sports. It simply comes down to "if you have a penis your a boy", if you don't have a penis your a girl(MHO). Just because you identify as a girl, dosen't mean you should compete in sports against girls. Again, if you have a penis, you play boy sports. Basicly this is about fairness to girls who play sports. You have to give girls the chance to compete with each other, and not a physical boy who is stronger.
Its not about giving everybody gets a participation trophy. Its about competition. Who comes first, second etc. Why does this matter, when push comes to shove, when you compete for a job or position, you have to be the best. Selection boards take the best candidates for their company or student position. Sure when the kids are in elementary school give a participation trophy, cause they are kids, but you have to start showing them about competition sometime....
The political motive to help minorities (Black and Aboriginals etc) and gay and trans and give them step up ( in normal competition); means we as Canadians no longer get the best individual for a job, position etc.
Everytime I see a story about gay or trans pushing the norm with this shit, all I can think about is that they are whiners.... Who use political clout/means to side step the competition process....
So if you have a political dictation of who gets a job, it is not fair to the candidates who are better and worked longer and harder for that job.
