Hey Roxie. Wish I had a nickel for everytime I said that here on the board but some guys just don't get it. Nice to see however that more respectful guys here than previous. As far as Independant ladies, Ariel is a gem. She is beautiful, intelligent and really a great provider. Never seen Audrey but chatted and she is a very nice lady and from what I've read here, beautiful as well. GinaLee is also beautiful and very down to earth. I see that the moderator(s) chose to not only delete the abusive comment, but roll "back the thread." On the one hand, yes this is in the interest of good taste and fairness, but on the other hand, some aspect of it might have been left up as an example of where the line is drawn.
It can be a tough decision for the editor(s). But perhaps it's best to err on the side of toughness, because for others who revisit the thread, such as Meiko, it rekindles vivid experiences of abuse. I suppose too, this would be another ball game if it were concerning another kind of topic, ie: politics or money.
Nice to know that there's no 'open season' on abuse here. I respect and appreciate that enormously.
To comment on something Meiko said....of course it's possible to have feelings for a person in the sex trades, even when one's only contact with them is limited to the "transaction" at hand. It doesn't happen every time, but I've had and still have very strong feelings of affection, and yes, even love, for those that I have come to know well.
It's only natural for people who know and enjoy sensuality...wherever and however and with whomever that connection happens.

Obviously Voltaire never had his ass sued off for libel, plagiarism or copyright infringement which are but 3 of the limitations put upon total free expression as mutually agreed upon in what we might call civilized societies.
Other examples are threats of harm, incitment to violence, and discriminatory expression, an example of which appeared here however briefly.
Then there's a whole raft of other ones that are considered ethical limits to free expression, generally understood to apply to all media:
ie: Not publishing fiction and presenting it as fact, not using one's power to influence public opinion for discriminatory purposes and so on.
My suggestion? Find another philosopher to quote from.
