More than likely the reason they spilt you up is to see if your story and the ladies are the same, they are trying to use your answers to incriminate her,it is illegal to make a false statement to a police officer but it not illegal to not answer there questions, when they are trying to bluff you the last thing they want around is an attorney

Absolutely.
Am I under arrest officer?
No, then I would like to leave.
If you want to detain me then I request the right to call my lawyer. Can I please have your name and badge number officer.

All respectfully.
You have done nothing wrong.
We do have constitutional rights.

Excellent advice Bob.
I used to play hockey with a couple of cops and a crown prosecutor. They'd say all the time it was amazing how some people don't know to shut up and pretty soon have just spilled all of the beans and the cops only had to start by asking them a few innocent questions.
Don't be rude but you are under no obligation aside from providing your name and ID to answer any questions, whether you are under arrest or not. After giving them your name and ID simply ask "Am I under arrest?" If the answer is no, then simply say you'd like to leave then. They'll tell you no, you can't until they check you for warrents, etc and ask a few questions. At this point you tell them "That's fine but I'd like a lawyer." Now they can't ask you anything until they let you speak with a lawyer, either your own or a public defender. This will let them know in a polite way you know your rights. Unless you are someone they really want to investigate, which you are not, they'll tell you to get lost. Iif they do detain you then you just answer "On the advice of council I decline to answer that question" is all you need to say. Again, unless your some kingpin they are after, they'll realize your a dead end and let you go so they can still make it for Happy Hour.

yeah, I was wondering about that. I don't have a fake ID but I usually leave my ID in my car. What will happen if I can't produce an ID and have to tell them that I need to go to my car to get it.

I asked one of the girl at Nevada, she said they usually get police raid 3 to 4 times a year. Statistically speaking it is still pretty safe to go there but I don't think I am going back there. However, I do like the discussion on this forum so far, learned a lot of things and gave me a picture of what happens.

A good question. I admit that I've often left my wallet and other valuables (18 carat gold monogrammed money clip containing $4-5 K in walking around money, numerous gold chains, big diamond earrings, 2 Rolex watches -I always have one set to New York time, diamond tie pin, etc.) locked in my trunk while I poon.

That said, if you are ever detained, not arrested but detained by the cops and you can't produce ID to verify your identity, they CAN hold you indefintely until they are satisfied as to your real identity. So not having your ID with you would only complicate things.

I was sitting in the waiting room before a session in Club Forum about 15 years ago when the police came in. A cop points to the door with his thumb and tells me to "beat it". Needless to say, he didn't have to tell me twice.

Are we sure that its the police and not the crown attorney who is perpetuating these raids?

This give me a great idea for a porn movie.:thumb:

Scene 1:
Jethro is buck naked in the jacuzzi tub with one of our local MP's hotties getting his tool polished. In bursts a big chested, female cop. The cop holds up her badge and yells out, "This is a bust!' just as the force of her entry ito the room causes the buttons on her blouse to pop, revealing her ample chest. Jethro winks and smoothly replies "Why yes it is and quite a nice one at that." Laughter ensues and then the lights dim and the music begins, Boom-chicka-wow-wow.:clap2:

Here`s the thing.... its called "caught in a bawdyhouse" and its a criminal charge. Who wants that on their resume or when they're trying to go down to the USA for the weekend.

Nevada and others may have a MP permit ...but thats to operate as a MP not a brothel. Once evidence is gathered, the paper house falls.

As a senario lets say LE interogates the girl/girls and offers them deal. Its every man/sp for himself after that....and LE wants the owner the most, so offers you/girls a break and no charges to comply....what would you do?

deny all you want... but when your guilty, your guilty....it will catch up to you.

now if thats all you get is a massage and NOTHING else then maybe the girl/girls will have nothing to say against you....but i`m guessing there`s only me and a few other guys that can say that.

haven`t been there for years and will never return. ditto for EBTO. Because it is nicer and cleaner there means nothing.

Interesting discussing. There is a federal law against not having proper ID on you. So if you're caught in a MP during a raid and can't produce your ID, you could get cited for not having proper ID on you in addition to any charge you might face, not sure what the penalty would be, probably just a fine.

We have Vancouver Police, yes actual Police officers armed with guns not just bylaw enforcement officers, patrolling the Skytrain here in Vancouver. Unlike Montreal and Toronto which have fare gates, up until now in Vancouver fare payments have been made on an honour system. Starting next month Vancouver will join Montreal and Toronto in having a fare gate system so then you will have to pay to get on the Skytrain.

Currently if you're caught on Vancouver's Skytrain without a valid fare, the police officer will write you a ticket, but what happens if you don't have valid ID on you? Lots of people apparently ride the Skytrain for free without ID. The police could cite for you that also, so double the fine. And fines are now tied to renewal of your driver's license, so if you don't pay the fine you won't get your driver's license renewed at renewal time unless the fine is paid off. A bit like you don't get your car insurance renewed unless all outstanding fines are paid. The same situation in Manitoba? Just curious.

Not having ID on you makes the police's work more complicated if say for example you have a heart attack and are found dead or unconscious on the sidewalk, upon finding your body they will not be able to identify you.

In light of the recent Ontario Court ruling striking down some aspects of Canada's Prostitution laws, do the cops now have a more difficult time busting MPs? Haven't the laws now changed making prostitution "more" legal? Is it just Ontario where bawdy houses are now legal or does Ontario's court ruling apply to all provinces?

I am well off but who the hell carries $4-5K in "walking around" money. I know people who make a quarter million a year that don't carry that kind of cash around. Plus, you have 2 rolex's, diamond earrings and numerous gold chains. Are you a rapper? I am having a real hard time believing that any sane individual dresses like this.

I'm having a real hard time you didn't realize Jethro was joking.

I'm also having a real hard time believing that bear2 revived a thread that had been dormant for eight months. Maybe he was hibernating.
