So I've got a dinner date with one of you lovely girls and I booked a table at a fairly nice place so I need a new outfit. I'd like to think I"m not retarded about clothes, but I think many people would agree that girls are usually more fashion savvy. If any of you girls have a reasonable social rate and like the idea of going shopping for a couple hours please send me a pm

Ask Sperminator

Better yet - save your money and ask our resident fashion guru Sperminator for some fashion tips. He will most likely recommend brown shoes (underrated) as well as to focus on something that fits well and suits your personal style (if you have one). For example - I wear cuff-links where possible (all my shirts are custom made) and I prefer not to wear logo's on any of my t-shirts. I also avoid bright red, yellow and royal blue and not everything has to be black.

Suits that look good for one person will not look good for another. If possible - get a female co-worker to go with you as she has already seen the rest of your wardrobe and can comment on what has worked and not worked. Just tell her you have a hot date.

Remember - just because you show up with wads of cash to buy an outfit from Holt Renfrew does not make you fashion savvy. I've seen many fools who think that dressing up in Armani or $200 True Religion jeans will validate their existence (they forget about their hair, teeth and personal fitness). It is all about confidence and not over-compensating.

Personally I would NOT recommend seeking fashion advice
from a person who puts up this self-portrait in the Humour Thread *
( * see page 10 of that thread ).

haha..i will attest to Sperminator's fashion sense (refer to "designer suit" thread). Because of it, i've realized the fashionable look of the brown dress shoes. i was all about the black before..until now. nice!

Sperminator is "Il divo"...and definitely the one to ask...anyone who has shoes made to measure is a fashion god to me!
