But how much if any of its "unwatchability" is due to the fact that today's players are now 'soft'?
I don't know how much more clear I can make it when I said: "Games 1, 2 and 4 were all double digits blowouts." I'm not interested in watching non competitive games with the outcome determined at the half.

So you're saying you'd rather watch a lower level but more competitive game than a higher level but less competitive game?

Just think about it like this for second; the Cavs are by far the 2nd best team in the league, and defending champs. They shit kicked the competion in the east, but STILL there getting embrassed by the warriors. It took a record setting 49 pts qtr. Which had never been done before in the history of the NBA playoffs to beat the warriors.

It's going to be a wrap in gm 5, but by some off chance Maricle if the Cavs do win. It's defs over by 6.

Lebron James is averaging a triple double and they still can't beat the warriors. The parody of the league sucks. People say baseball is boring? But it gets better ratings and makes more money then basketball. Why? Because it's competitive and there's legit 10 teams that can win the world series every year.

The NBA would be a much better product if there wasn't two all star teams shit kicking everyone.

That's just an assinine question and you know it. We are talking about the highest PROFESSIONAL level basketball teams here, not the pee wee league. There's no such thing as a "lower level" team that participates in the NBA Finals.

here's my two cents. name the sixth man award nominee for each team in the bottom half of the league. exactly. you might have trouble naming more than two starters per team. NBA identity and talent crisis. way way way too many one n dones and most people have no clue who any of the influx of european players are. unlike the NHL, there are zero non NBA leagues that we watch or have any consistent info on, except the NCAA, and what a farce it is when it comes to development. the league is full of mediocrity and lacks toughness. Ask Charles Malone and Shaq how many they'd score in this league today, let alone Jordan. that's all i got to say about that. BM

The fact that the competition between the east and west is a complete joke as well. East Coast teams had more losses than wins for playoff contenders. The increase in cap space is allowing teams to vulture FA and drafts.

Just look at the Celtics...they trade fucked Brooklyn for first round draft picks for 5 years.......

To be fair, it's not the league's fault the Nets GM and ownership are morons lol. But yes to everything else you said.

Yeah, Kevin Durant is such a loser for signing as a free agent to a team that he thinks can win a championship for 20+million dollars.

Look, he is a product of his time. Superstars that are concerned with their legacy, have to join superteams. The media got lazy as hell and compare any good player to Jordan, and look at how many rings they have. Lebron was the first to go through this. KD was getting skewered, so, he did what any brand would do: Go where you have the best chance of succeeding. Make no mistake, sports media is to blame for this. If KD gets his ring this year, watch how different sports media will talk about him.

The greatest team ever, and they didn't need Kevin Garnett to join them.
Right. They just needed Shaq, Robert Horry, Isaiah Rider, Rick Fox and other mercenaries to join the Lakers. A real grassroots team, they were. . . and hilariously rigged NBA officiating.

That's cute, you mentioned Isaiah rider that's real cute, I actually needed that, thank you... but, yeah I stand by my comments durants move to warriors is the weakest I've ever seen and that includes lebron going to maimi. It doesnt matter if he's making 20+ million or how many rings he collects, hell he could win 6-7. Doesn't matter it's a bitch made move.

If lebron can pull of a miracle and somehow turn Tristan Thompson into Anthony Davis for the rest of series and they actually come back and win, maybe durant can join the Cavs this off-season. If you cant beat them? Join em right? I mean hes done it before.

Also, yes the NBA is very rigged, and they love helping the Lakers. They love helping them so much! That they actually stopped the Chris Paul trade from happening, because you know that didn't set the Lakers back 5-10 years. Stop watching conspiracy theory videos on YouTube.

Damn, actually named dropped Isaiah rider, his 5pts and 13 mins a game.

JR stepped up like Kyrie with the 4-pointer but goddam refs called jack shit in the paint.

Durant is an unstoppable goddamn beast for 3's and post.

Lebron got one more year b4 UFA with cavs....hopefully they can either trade up or nab a better post player/shooter than korver/williams

The warriors winning a championship this year, is like a rich kid talking about how he worked hard for his inheritance/trust fund.

Steve kerrs also just a shinny hood ornament at this point. The car moves just fine without him.

Whether you love him or hate him, lebron James is the best basketball player in the world and has been for a while, and you've got respect that. He averaged a triple-double, virtually played every minute of the finals, he did everything but turn water into wine, and he still fell short. It came down to LBJ and uncle drew vs team USA basketball.

The 6 to the.. Other 6
I miss the good old days of Jordan, or even Tracy McGrady, Allen Iverson and the such..

I mean, the Lakers couldn't roll Iverson, the GSW couldn't roll LBJ. At least he got a single W in.
