My 1000th Post

I don't believe I've made 1000 posts on this board.
It started out with a Korean SP I was crazy about, and a long legged nanny I got to met three times yet still remember.

I like to think I've been a good community member.
I haven't been banned before. I haven't added to any gross locker room talk. I've been respectful to mods, providers, and peers. I try to add where I can and even try to encourage better behaviour and understanding.

I hate to say this but I do check this board a couple of times a day, and this is the community that I've become a part of. I'll probably exile myself when I'm in a relationship again but that's looking less and less likely as the years go by. This place ain't no Reddit, but it does service specific purpose and audience. And while no one will be sharing links to Perb on their real Facebook/Twitter/Tiktok profile anytime soon, it was nice to have a place to be able to share stories and experience with you all.

Congrats on 1K, and thanks for the memories. It is good to see some old-timers chiming in here too. Luv you guys!

I had also celebrated my 1,000th post years ago, knowing with an inner pride that quality was more important than quantity in terms of community contribution, and feeling good about my share.

Got a mini-ban once, so that monkey is off my back. I do agree with the other posters that a “full Perb life” should involve a little stint in Perbatory, or at least a bit of a reprimand. With an understanding mod, you might even be able to arrange a soft landing. (I recall one Perbite posted a rant and suggested he should probably get a week time-out for it. Lol). Weird, but somehow limits pressed and subsequently respected makes perbites a little more rounded, humble, and knowledgable. There is wisdom in reformation. If no one ever eff’d up, we wouldn’t have a clear sense of boundaries, no trolls to expunge/stockade-tomato tossing/public stonings, and the house would be rather boring too.

Great job!
I got banned once for 4 weeks, for being what I assumed was humorous, and thought would make the mods laugh, figuring they could use some funny posts and laughter.
Instead of seeing it as intended, and laughing, with no warnings previously, just a 4 week ban, which really isn't a big deal anyway.
There are many great people here, a few jerks, but some damn good reading to.
The mods overall do a good job running this place, which is a large part of why its also good reading.
I learned a lesson from my ban that they don't enjoy humor, so no more funny posts directed at them.

It's a small miracle you made it to 1000 posts ban free, and thanks for all your contributions and good reads!
