Movie Review - The Platform

I used to post threads of movie reviews here years ago but then I stopped, not sure why!

The Platform: I caught it on NF. It is quite similar to Snowpiercer, except it is much more graphic and gory. Having said that, it is also much more clear about the ingrained message.

I wont go into details but if you like movies with hidden symbolic messages and a bit ( a lot in some scenes) of gore, you might like it.

Hope we can revive people’s interest in sharing their opinions about movies.

Yes, I just noticed it too. I will most certainly watch it. It is amazing how non-American movies are good, and even better in many cases in story telling and in terms of originality.

The non English movies are really good.
Im a huge movie buff, did you watch The Great Flood? Its Korean
Parasite is good but not sure if its on Netflix still

Current NF series is Legends. IMO top drawer, all aspects of it.
And for a completely opposing view to the OP's movie selection, saw Sheep Detectives with my fav FWB, the one with the outstanding rack, and really enjoyed it. The movie and her.

Yes, I have seen quite a few Korean movies and I enjoyed them because of originality of the story as well the technical side of film making.
I remember that I watched Parasite twice.

Here's an out of the box one- Vivarium (a young couple looking for perfect home find themselves trapped in a mysterious labyrinth like neighborhood of identical houses)

I watched The Hail Mary Project recently. Ryan Gosling is very good in this movie. 8.2 ranking on IMDB which is very good.
