Fassbender is fucking great in X-men
Agreed. He was excellent in that (no X-Men pun intended). I believe that X-Men: First Class is also still available on netflix.
It is... I watch it every week or so...
Just a note to those with Netflix Canada that both Centurion and X-Men: First Class will only be available until July 1. So, how many viewings of X-Men are you gonna squeeze in before then, blaze?

(I admit that I squeezed in one more viewing of Centurion)
I got an email from Netflix today that X-Men: First Class is "now available on Netflix" -- technically, I guess that means that they have reacquired the rights to it. I've actually noticed that a number of movies that I watched at one time as they were nearing the end of their availability seem to be returning. Some actually reappeared in "My List" upon their "return".
In any case, in my opinion, First Class is still the best in the series. I can't say that I didn't enjoy X-Men: Days of Continuity Past (

) but I was somewhat disappointed since there was so much potential of where they could've gone with the "First Class" cast, characters and story and instead, they just used that as a starting point to retroactive continuity fix the mess that was X-3 (technically, it took 2 movies to "Back to the Future" that continuity!

) (As for Days of Continuity Past, in my opinion, the single best scene in the movie is the bit with Quicksilver 'time in a bottle' or kitchen, in this instance

and even that had some rather gaping flaws). I can only hope that X-Men: Apocalypse makes the whole thing worth it.
Anyway, I suppose blaze will be happy that he can watch the movie on a weekly basis again. (I have the blu-ray, so no biggie to me that it's back on Netflix -- I still have a significant number of things to watch in "My List")
Oh... I watched The Art of the Steal on Movie Central last night. I've always been a rather big fan of Kurt Russel and I had heard good things about the movie. Quite a bit of Canadian content and financial participation in this one. Very entertaining. Quite funny. Sort of an Ocean's light. Jay Baruchel provides plenty of comedic highlights. A nice, understated kind of performance from Terence Stamp. Overall, I quiet enjoyed it and would recommend.
