Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
What's your opinion on the premise of this movie? While in the end the perpetrators are caught and prosecuted, the movie, in my opinion glorifies their actions as these suckers deserve to be taken advantage of.
If this was a movie about guys drugging women and having sex with (basically raping) them there would be boycotts, protests, theatres shut down. etc.
But it's okay for women to drug and rob men? Where's the protests?

Cheers

Don't buy into the whole outrage culture thing. Silence of the Lambs won an Oscar so I don't think people are only cool when it's "glorifying" a female villain.

There has always been a double standard, and still is.
Rape a boy, no big deal...but if it happened to a girl its an outrage....same goes for robbery, assault, or whatever. I learned that at a really young age.
I think most men learned decades ago they are considered dispensable and unimportant by the masses in our society. Sure some people don't think that way, but most do.
Look and see how many women's shelters exist, and then look for the mens shelters...that pretty much tells you how society views us. The elementary school teacher who was gay and raping us boys in school didn't even lose his job when the principal was told. Imagine the outrage if he had raped girls though. I've come to accept that this is the reality of our society, and just keep moving on.

Apples to oranges man. There are more women's shelters because there are more women victims. And unless you're in your 20s, teachers raping children was swept under the rug more frequently regardless of gender of the victim.

Here's the thing you're not getting: it takes a LOT of systematic victimisation for outrage to hit critical mass. The sheer quantity of victimisation of women and minorities has reached the boiling point. It's not a double standard. It's a threshold of societal indifference that's been crossed for them, but not for us yet.

Clearly it's not an all or nothing situation. You're complaining about it. JB is complaining about it. There are less people complaining because there are less victims to "trigger". It's not rocket science.

If you complained that you feel dehumanised because "your kind" is being portrayed as disposable in the plot of some movie, most women and minorities would probably say "take a number."

Anyway my point of view: don't like it? Don't watch it. Not everything is made with you in mind as the audience. Same thing I'd say to people outraged by Grand Theft Auto or Game of Thrones or the Joker or ...

Sorry did someone equate drugging and robbing to drugging and sexually assaulting? Are the women sexually assaulting and or murdering their clients? Even if they are, it’s just a movie and it’s ok to root for bad guys and gals as such. Obviously some women and men of all ages will see this movie and aspire to the behaviour therein just as some will watch Scarface or Breaking Bad and think it’s a good idea to sell drugs and commit murder. Very few misguided viewers will be emboldened or influenced to the point of actually committing crimes they see on a screen, but it does happen of course. The vast majority of consumers of entertainment can enjoy R rated material and bend their morality, for the duration of the picture, at the whim of the director and screenwriter without actually sympathizing, condoning or aspiring to real world criminality. Come to think of it, I don’t think I have any objections to J Lo or Cardi B drugging and robbing Wall Street d bags lol.

I have no interest in watching it.....same goes for what is churned out for movies these days.I have lost count of the spiderman/batman/superman reboots over the years. The John Wick franchise was good as was the Lord Of The Rings/Hobbit trilogies.....basically good luck getting me to go to the theatre to see crap when I have a 65 inch LED TV at home where I can pause at anytime and enjoy beer/smokes etc.
