Most Famous or infamous Person You Ever Saw/Met

Did he give you a coveted BCTV pen for your troubles?
I won't list who I've met/know either.
The list is long and some interesting people on it. Some I call friends and still stay in contact with.
The first few I was a bit star struck, but after you get to know them, for the most part they are just regular people with high visibility jobs ( who also get paid very handsomely). A few had super ego's others were/are very humble.
The only thing that got me thinking was, "Insurance". After having someone in your house/car who makes $$$$$, I though WTF if the slip on my stairs etc and cannot work?
I copied the wrong part of Charlee's quote. Was supposed to be the part of "don't kiss & tell". Not sure if I actually kissed any, but drinks, hugs, birthday parties, dinners out, beer in their homes, etc have been done

I saw Mr T at a football game once, might have been the Grey Cup don’t remember for sure. He was sitting in the passenger seat of a van in the parking lot with a towel over his head. Waved at him and he nodded at me.
I’m sure a lot of you have seen famous people more than you think, especially if your in the Downtown Vancouver area.
A lot of the time they aren’t noticeable and their body guards are often stealth and hang back a bit. My friend owns a company that provides security services for guests when they travel and I’ve worked in sectors that have allowed me to meet a lot of famous people. I’ve also been involved with philanthropy and causes which have always been a good place to meet unique people.
Vancouver is home to a mountain of high profile celebrities, lots of filming over here and having a home in Vancouver/Whistler has become a standard for a lot of celebrities as well. Oprah, Reynolds/Blake Lively, Grimes/Musk, Clooney, Pitt (before the divorce).
As for memorable stories, I lived on the floor below Brad Pitt in downtown Vancouver a number of years ago. Talked in the elevator with him and he wanted to do dinner last minute but wasn’t sure where to go. I gave up my reservations for him to try a great place.
I’m sure he could have easily got a table regardless but he unexpectedly showed up at my door a few days later with flowers for my then, girlfriend. He said “xxxxxx that restaurant was amazing!” My girlfriend at the time wasn’t home but I snapped a picture with him
When she came home I said “I got Brad Pitt to deliver flowers to you but you weren’t home.” She’s like bullshit buddy go fuck yourself. I pulled out the picture of him and I in my place holding the flowers and her jaw hit the ground. She wanted to show it off but I told her the story and that I think it’s better to keep it private.
A very kind and thoughtful person. Also a riot. He punked me a few times with my car. Love his sense of humour.
Having pizza on a patio in Vancouver and this man asked the hostess for a table, she said 2 hours. I was within a few feet and said “Hey, are you comfortable joining me for lunch? I have a 4 cheese pizza coming and it’s yours if you want it.”
I was shocked when he said, okay, and then walked around and joined my friend and I.
Talked about the environment and some charity work. As it turns out we had both been to the same event at the same time a few years ago but never met.
When I went to pay for the lunch, I was told his team had already settled the tab and that they had eyes on us the whole time. Being one of the wealthiest people of modern times I didn’t feel bad about it. Thanks for the lunch Bill!
The last one is an odd one. It’s a picture of my mother, holding me as a baby at Expo 86 and next to my mother is Princess Diana. What makes it odd is there is nobody else within a distance so it’s really just the three of us.
My father took the picture and since my parents have both passed on, I don’t know the details of how that picture came to be.

Man, I was just gonna say the same thing about Fiona, plus she's nice and tall. She was my local celeb crush for awhile, lol.

Fiona Forbes. Home Depot on Terminal. What happened to her? Steadman. (Oprah's boyfriend). on Robson Street. Thought he was a figment of her imagination. But the dude abides. G. Gordon Liddy. Robson Street. Outside a hotel. Loitering with intent. Probably looking for a restaurant that served "ratburgers" . Kim Campbell in Safeways. City Square. Just after she got booted out of office. She looked pretty pleased with herself. Like she was trying to catch somebody's eye.
I met Pat Quinn years ago, also met Jim Carrey. I was seated on a flight behind George Strombolopoulos and had a brief conversation with him. When I was going up an escalator in Vegas, I saw Mike Myers on the opposite side going down. Can't think of anyone else.
I had the good fortune to dance to Guy Lombardo and the Royal Canadians the very last time they played at the Imperial Room in the Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
