Long story short the condom broke. The girl freaked and demanded me pay her 40 or go buy her the pill at the pharmacy. I said I'm only willing to pay half and gave her 20.00

Pooner pays all of it if he's a gentleman. You can figure out the reply if he doesn't......

Are you keen to be a daddy and pay child support for the next 19 years?

You break - you pay for it :D
I'd pay, it's a rare occurrence, not worth thinking too much. It's not even compensating the girl for extra time / stress.

No I don't think she has to be on birth control. Maybe not for health reasons or because of extra expense. Or maybe she's trying to get pregnant in her private life lol

Ive been in the same situation and paid for it. The guy didnt even offer which was incredibly tacky but i'm not about to get into a battle over such a small amount of money. In my opinion the classy thing to do would be for the guy to pay for it. But in most siuations ive leanred that waiting to see what is offered rather than haggling over what you think is "fair" "right" or "just" when it comes to issues of money has provided me with a ton of useful information. Needless to say I did not see this person again. Im sure there are situatiions where perhaps the resposibility may lie with the woman though... depending on how the "breakage" occurred....

In Your Wildest Dreams!
I don't have to worry about pregnancy (no baby carriage; just kept the little box it came in!) but if a condom broke, pregnancy would be the LEAST of my concerns. I would hope that a gentleman would address them in a sensitive and thoughtful way!

My condom, my dime. Her condom, her dime. Life time of child support ?????? Are you telling her your real name and contact info ???? What happened to all the privacy and discretion issues that everybody is always on about ????

Whose fault is it that the condom broke? Really nobodies. So wouldn't you want to do the right thing. Reassure the lady you're clean and offer to get tested with her and pay for the pill. I mean really? Forty bucks.

Is being a human being that difficult?

Well said. If $40 as a gesture of goodwill gets you bent out of shape...

My statement was towards a legitimate / honest situation. If you are pointing towards a " scam " scheme......then you and UncleG are correct and I agree.

Proof down that route would be very difficult and $40 would be a nothing but a " hand out ".
But the OP's question wasn't about a "legitimate / honest situation" so why go off track, or at least identify that is what you were referring to? Now for an even bigger train wreck, why identify your example as a "legitimate / honest situation ?" The "hobby" being engaged in is legal, so why is it not a "legitimate / honest situation" ?:D:D:p

In Lust Mostly
in my case when the condom broke
the lady commented that she had intended to give me the session for free to make up for some of the trauma we had recently gone thru
she then said she was keeping the money i had paid her
so the breaking condom in my case cost me about $300
never did get that "complimentary session" btw
Sounds like a bit of bad luck and poor business practise too. SP's generally speaking like to have their regular clients and by acting this way, she basically doesn't care about a return engagement later.

Since I am shooting all seedless juice, I wouldn't feel compelled to buy her a morning after pill. I would offer to drive her up to the clinic so we could both get tested and compare notes a week later.

In Lust Mostly
reputable lady
reputable agency
she just retired
my point in all of this is that the client usually bears the brunt of costs when things don't go according to plan
I don't know about that part. In my past experience when the condom broke we both agreed to get tested and share results later. There was no drama involved since we had seen each other many times and trusted each other to get the test and share the results later. There was never any $40 request for the morning after pill because when I told her I had been snipped she knew that was the truth.

I have had condoms break with other SP's and both chalked it up to bad luck. Doing the test and sharing results seems like the only reasonable path for me anyways.

emotion and logic cloud even the best of intentions

Possibly but it shouldn't be hard to do the right thing. Women are human, not machines, and deserve to be treated as such. IMO

In this circumstance where the woman I had hired was demanding I pay for the morning after pill... I might get pooped on for saying it but, I'd go and pick up the pill for her, but with the understanding that she was taking it in front of me, for my peace of mind.

yeah so the right thing is $40?
there is more to it than that
to me the money is inconsequential so that is why i would not initially even think about it
just ask an sp about the variability in the treatment she gets from her clients that all pay the same amount
money doesn't decide what the right thing is
you can pay the $40 and still be a douche before after or during

Believe I pretty much covered that in post 19 above.
