Hey hey hey,I don't see the Angels winning with that starting pitching. Losing those kids Richards and Shoemaker is huge. Jered Weaver I guess is there ace even though he isn't even hitting 90 mph on the gun anymore and C J Wilson is brutal. The Orioles also lost 2 other key guys in Matt Wieters and Manny Machado but they have a tremendous bullpen and still enough offence with slugger Nelson Cruz, Adam Jones, Nick Markakis and Delmon Young. They get Davis back from his drug suspension in the second round if they make it that far. The Tigers always look good on paper but rarely deliver when it matters most.
I believe the National League will win the World Series, with Washington the most well rounded team led by young phenoms Strasburg and Harper. The Dodgers have good starting pitching led by 20 game winner Clayton Kershaw and the Cardinals always seem to show up in the post season. Don't think the Giants have much chance and I doubt Lincecum is going to magically return from the bullpen to the starting rotation and turn back the clock somehow. And the loss of outfielder Angel Pagan is a big blow.
Washington over the Orioles in 5 in the World Series.
why are all these games in the afternoon?
Not sure if one had to do with the rain delay in KC the other night, but at least one seemed to be scheduled.why are all these games in the afternoon?
Come on you guys, you've been around sports long enough...if there are two games scheduled, they are going to be staggered for maximum exposure and the eastern audience...when the Canucks went to the Stanley Cup final, why did their home games start at 500 PM, when all season long they started at 700 PM...is it not television revenue? Not sure if one had to do with the rain delay in KC the other night, but at least one seemed to be scheduled.
