it is not just age that men have a distorted view of, but measurements as well.
Many ladies give their real measurements but most do not because most guys, not just pooners, have no real idea about real measurements.
My true honest measurements are 5'5", 105lbs, 32A-26-35. I see women advertising that they are say 24 inches who are like 5 inches taller than me and in absolutely STUNNING shape but there is no way in hell their waist is that small. But they have to because men seem to think a 27 inch waist is fat.
And weight too is crazy. A woman who is 5'10" can be in crazy good shape, toned abs, thin waist, nice small ass and be 150lbs but she could NEVER advertise that because men would think she was fat or that there was a typo.

But I want to mention that men are far, far more content with knowing all of those numeric details than they are when you merely state that you "wear a size 2".
The male mind can grasp the concept that "1" or "2" is a smaller-sized girl than the wearer of a size "7" or the like, but we have no idea just what visual our minds should associate those single digit numbers with.
You are so correct in knowing that these numbers are usually offered within a certain range (meaning those with others numbers aren't usually in the situations where they are advertising them) and that numbers seemingly "realistic" (translation: "notably out of range") can at times make a guy slow his pursuit or interest.
When it comes to, say, an arena like Craigslist (which has scores and scores of women advertising the same thing, with each ad quite near to the rest)... a woman really should stick with "the truth".
Consider that, if all women on earth were lined up naked, and facing away from a guy... arranged in order of the very tiniest butt to the very largest butt... it would NOT be those seemingly right in the middle that drew the most praise. Instead it would be those women situated just to either side of the center.
(think of it like a bell curve in school, where the A's are on the far left and the E's are on the far right, with the C's comprising the largest group, right in the middle)
I'm saying that male eyes would be most drawn to those just outside of the "C" group on EITHER side!
The woman advertising on Craigslist, whose ass just happens to be "full"... should advertise the true measurements... and then post a photo with much of that ass very clear to behold!
This move would offset the man's mind having been long told what ideal measurements were, and having just read that hers were not 'perfect'.
IF he lusts for that ample ass, he'll be calling!!!
If not, the woman didn't conceal anything and she won't have to endure the scenario where he shows up and then thinks up a reason to decline to stay.
Katlyn, don't lose track of the chance that it is
knowing your details that is most telling to the guy, and perhaps not so much the specifics of what those measurement details are.
(side note: one of the things I hate about some of this business is the pencil drawing of some random woman in the telephone book, with the implication being you should dial that phone number and someone of similar proportions will show up at your doorstep in 45 minutes - nobody REALLY believes that, but this is my point:
IF YOU, Katlyn, can effectively telegraph to a male mind an image OF you... that gets as near to the real 'you' who will soon show up, then his anticipated satisfaction level for the encounter will be as high as it can possibly be
even after you open the door to greet him.)
I know this post was about the details of measurements in particular, but consider also that other details such as
(a) what you'll be wearing
(b) your body type
(c) your interests
(d) even something as mundane as the parking situation nearby to your incall
(e) your hair colour
(f) what kind of refreshments you'll potentially have on hand
(g) ... and much more
... will really help the same male mind that loves to contemplate the detail offered in your listed measurements... have even more detail to grasp enroute to a fantastic encounter with you!
