I am just wondering why you wouldn't choose to go with the numerous other providers or agencies that use less intrusive methods of screening. are you not worried about discretion or privacy?
Depends on their current situation.
If they're married with kids and/or work in a high position in a big company I can see the need for absolute discretion. They got a family and reputation to maintain so makes sense.
If they single and work in a "anonymous" job then maybe its not that big problem to them.
I think it all comes down to if the girl they wanna book is worth the risk of not. (Never given ID though)
PS. Personally I believe that there's barely any privacy in today's internet age but that's just my 2 cents. Shocked me what I found out about myself by just typing my name on Google.

Digital footprint management is going to be crucial skill. With increased sensorship, cancel culture its even more important, dark web is still a problem.
Sharing ID is a bad idea in this hobby, even if a person has nothing to loose. First of all its illegal still to buy sex, second nobody wants to be in situation where you loose present reputation for a paid sex turned to "metoo". You never know, a college boy of today can become a businessman, politician or police officer in future.
