Memory Lane: So many

When I first came upon Perb, there were quite a few colorful writers and this site was rich with stories of excitement in encounters and philosophical reflections about life. These stories kept me coming back here and, inspired by the exploits I read about here, I have gone out and indulged in many of my own. There are still a few here who crack me up with a turn of phrase, but no one since has been as prolific as was Tantalizeme in his day. Today he popped into my head, as it's quiet times. I assumed he had deleted all his posts when he stopped posting, but I searched him, and they are still all here. All 200.

To you people who have never read him: if you are bored, you'll be inspired by him. He is the Hunter S Thompson of Perb (if that name means anything to you.)

Try this one titled: "How to cope with getting older." Do the poll and read on. It's an example of the great threads that he often initiated, or chimed in on. Hat tips to all the bro's who share heart and intelligence on Perb. You've added a remarkable and unexpected dimension to my life. I learned everything I needed to know here. One way to cope with life is to have continuous access to sexy women who will participate in erotic adventures. For me the ideal is around 30 + or - 5, and she'll come along for the ride.

You know you are getting bored when you start scanning the archives for excitement. But that's where the fun was. Lots of perbers who were great wordsmiths. Used to drool over some of the reviews back in the day.Got tipped off to some of the best sexual experiences of my life through this board.Interesting stories. Legendary ladies. There was a real spark of excitement close to a decade ago. Perb Nostalgia. I suppose Sonny deserves "honorable mention" for reporting some of the epic finds over the years on a consistent and yeoman like basis. Seems many have moved on. I can't imagine leaving. except by force. lol.

fair warning, we have had several of these memory lane posts veer off into territory that resulted in them being closed or removed.

Leave "where are they now" and "does anyone still have contact info for" type posts out of this, and it can stay. Stick to thoughtful recollections and you are fine. The retired and the departed deserve their privacy.

I wish I could've lived the early 1980's as an adult of enough means AND gained the insights offered by Hatrick as offered to PERB in the early 2000's for pooning in the early 1980's around these parts.

The Pussy Posse data alone would have been a lot like a phone book with not enough hours in the day.

And I'm guessing the Snatchlight glowed fluorescent against the 2:30am Vancouver DTES sky back then with every nearby street corner teeming with willing lasses (some not even self-exiled to the shadows which they knew you couldn't see very well). Strip clubs more plentiful too.

Twas a far less stressful time, but I'm guessing Hatrick was at concert pitch back then. (maybe he used to be a 4-goal-a-game guy before we knew him???)

That man is the true legend of reviewers. I'll give hats off to tant for sure in every department no doubt
when it comes to his posting. Very incitefull indeed and entertaining. He gets my close second.

But the HAT man? Legend of legends indeed.
This may sound bias but I'm proud to be a good friend of his and wish
I had met him 20 years ago or more. Alas I have no complaints having known him personally
for the last 8 years and before that admired and relished in reading his exploits. Nothing better.

When he first agreed to meet on a gents night out pooning night I was overwhelmed with
excitement. HELL OF A GOOD TIME!!!!

A true gentleman and friend anyone could ever wish for.


And please, everyone!! Let's do as the forum mod asks and not let this veer off.
It would be good just to reminisce over friends, aquaintences, reviews of fellow members
and posts by those who you enjoyed reading. THAT would be grand!
