Guests don't have all the special privileges that members have like access to coupons and two for one deals.

my phone doesn't keep me logged in and I can view reviews when I am not logged in (I do often pop by without popping in)

Only 3 of the review forums are blocked when your not logged in, 2 in Vancouver and 1 in Victoria. The rest you can see without logging in.
