Perb I have been a member here for a cpl years now. i find it a place that i can get reviews that have many times saved my ass and made this hobby a safe and 90% good experience for me. This comes from others giving back. So I occasionally give back as well. It is important to the community here as a whole. The other important aspect of this forum for me is its a safe place to talk about my experiences. A recent SP I met said she has this as a secret life and should never cross it with her real life. The same for me. This hobby is an absolute secret from my family, friends, work colleagues and community. BUT I have this need to talk about it once in a while. Yes I do keep a running reviews filed away on my computer under password. But its not the same as talking to friends (even though all under a nic) about my experiences related to this hobby.

All this being said. WHAT can we as members do about the guest list. Scrolling to the bottom of the home page online right now.. 1202 users online, 390 members, 812 guests. Almost twice as many guests as members. When I discovered this forum it took me only 2 visits and I joined. Why are there so many lurking on here, gaining info and not giving back. I am sure the developers, and the moderators are puzzled over this as well. What can we do as members to encourage guests to join and have some input on here too. After-all membership is free so WTF is wrong. I know if it ain't broke don't fix it. in this case it ain't broke I just want to see it better. Any ideas folks. Maybe a members only page??

Oh and we need a like button..

Encourage zero post registered people to contribute.

I don't respond to pm's from zero posters. It's a two way street IMO and it wouldn't kill them to post a review too.

Not sure about what guests are able to view.

You could also say this about the many members that follow that same practice.
My thoughts on the subject are well chronicled- PLEASE!, for the betterment of the community, if you use this site to enhance your pooning experiences it would be thoughtful to occasionally bring something to the table rather than just l****ing from and consuming the fare supplied by others.
Not looking to derail the thread or cast aspersions that will most likely lead towards a certain visit to the penalty box, so I'll refrain from derogatory commentary or perceived alienation towards others until I'm ready to take some time off and vacation in a sunny clime.
But I look forward to some fresh and enlightening input on the subject.
Good topic, Islander.

Just got another one this week.
I get them regularly as a faithful contributor.
I too do not respond unless their history shows at least a semblance of contribution- sometimes as simple as a couple of insightful chimes into other members threads.
It's not asking a lot.

Varies now
I'm thinking -40 for what seems like weeks in Manitoba is working to bring out new and contributing members. I have seen several new members post reviews of veteran touring, new touring and local ladies. New members have offered up a new perspective and re-kindled interest.

Could it be the kinder gentler perb?

Exactly my point.

Unless someone is a dick via PM, I respond to everyone else except the zero posters.

Guests can’t see reviews only the lounge and a couple of others. Guest count is high because every time you come to the site but haven’t logged in yet your counted as a guest, even after you log in your still counted as guest.

THAT explains it. TY

I often wondered at it as well. I know when I first joined back in '05, you couldn't read much of anything valuable UNLESS you joined. So I did. Didn't return for 6 years and when I did I made sure to add some posts before requesting info. I get a kick out of regulars who always comment about join date versus posting history.

EDIT: Something which I found MYSELF doing after a time. Till I gave myself a kick in the rear.
EDIT2: I've heard advertisers on other boards have quit when it came to light that there was a "Members only" page. Do not bite the hand ...

Guests only have access to the forum section right? I dont know but to me, reviews r way more importnat, so I became a member.
Not sure about what guests are able to view.
The only sub forums currently not visible to non members are

Vancouver Escort Reviews
Vancouver Massage Reviews
Victoria Massage Reviews
Regina Escort & Massage Reviews

All other sections seem to be accessible to "guests" (Although, interestingly of note, the Neighbourhood Watch section doesn't appear at all unless logged in).

Allow me to ask MB Mod:

  • Can we put a Mod on our ' ignore list ' ? ( sarcasm )
  • Are some ' join dates ' more accurate than others? :gossip:

________ Regardez :The member ' join date ' element pertains to this thread's topic: Verdad ? _ :twitch:

1) don’t know

2) join date is date you verify your account, if it takes you six months to verify your account then that would be your join date. The only other time it would change is if you get a new handle or they make you a mod.

Be like me just hang around for 13 or 14 years, keep under the radar, eventually they’ll run out of people and ask you! :boink: I’m guessing that staying under the radar :loco:would be a problem for you

Well.....Yes.
I tend to take guidelines and rules ....as suggestions.
In my defence...I never mean any harm, but sometimes I type before I think, but I'm working on it.

Members don't always have a need to log in to the site and as stated by the Mod all visitors are guests until they log in. I think too many focus on newbies and guests as being "the deplorables". SPs that advertise here want their ads seen by as many people as possible. A gentleman that doesn't post here is just as good as a gentleman that posts here as long as he treats her right and pays what she asks.

I have been a part of the total in the guest count. I'm still trying to find the courage to post about something. I thought I'd register and then casually start posting hoping that would help me open up about something. We are all different. Some have the confidence to post a lot, some don't.
Read the guidelines.... as its a new and friendlier environment here, then just post.
I'm not sure the location of those guidelines, so don't ask.....I kinda just post by brail.

my phone doesn't keep me logged in and I can view reviews when I am not logged in (I do often pop by without popping in)
