Are there SP's that proactively visit hotel bars/lounges to find and seduce a prospective client? Or, is that just a thing in the movies to be limited to a personal fantasy?🙂

80's and earlier - that was part of how it was done. That and the vibrant street scenes in most cities.
Those of us in the legacy category all remember that and of course the walk along Georgia Street in downtown. I used to call it the gauntlet.
But back to the bar/lounge thing, many of hotel lounges had their share of the well dressed lady who was "just waiting for someone - and you?".
There is the odd story or account of ladies still trying this at upscale/luxury hotel bars. It's not really widespread and you may be wasting your time. It's much more a thing in Vegas and other cities. You are far better off finding an SP you like and setting this up in advance, make a role play out of it.
years ago you would occasionally see them in the lounge at Sutton Place. I remember getting a smile from a knockout sitting at the bar, who then followed me when I went to the loo. When I turned around, she handed me a business card with her in a sexy cop uniform. Sorry, I did not partake, but I still have that card somewhere.....
It's in the Paradox, formerly the Trump Hotel and an upscale place ladies might try to drum up a client in town alone on business.
Other places I have heard of this happening on occasion are:
Sutton Place
Fairmont Pacific Rim, Waterfront and Hotel Vancouver
Hotel Georgia
Wedgewood Hotel
It's been a long time though I'll admit. And I really think you are better off looking around the internet and finding a good indy lady or calling a reputable agency. If you don't mind a quiet drink and risking striking out, give the lobby bar or lounge in some of these places a go. Only really works if you have a room there, at least in my mind, a place to take her if you manage to meet someone looking for pay for play.

You’re not likely to find an SP “freestyling” in upscale hotel bars anymore, from an SP’s point of view it’s not really logical. You can’t just sit in a bar for hours without having a few drinks without looking suspicious and with drinks now being $25+ per drink economically it doesn’t make sense as there’s no guarantee that you’ll find someone looking for a girl and wanting to pay for it if he does find one plus hotels will generally ban anyone they think are there trying to solicit sexual services and as we get outcalls to these locations from time to time you don’t want to risk missing out on future bookings because you’re banned from a hotel. Also from my personal experience it’s nerve racking when you meet someone and you have to tell them that your company comes at a price. . Some men will almost get offended or they’re not interested if it isn’t free and I’ve just wasted a bunch of time and effort for something that won’t actually pan out, I’d rather they already know my company isn’t free and just contacted me via my ad on a site or word of mouth etc. your best bet is to hire an SP and just role play the whole scenario, I’ve done this before and it’s fun.
I almost picked up one at the center bar at the Park casino about a couple years ago. Beautiful Asian MILF, no accent and very well dressed and really fun to talk to. Would have taken the dip but the wife was playing slots near by….after I mentioned the wife being there, Asian MILF was unphased and proposed a 3 way. How effen amazing that would have been…. This is a scenario that rarely comes around if ever and I really put some thought into how to introduce it my lady. At the end I politely declined and she politely moved her attention elsewhere.

@Deuceredman when you say Asian are you referring to Indian or Asian of the oriental world ? Thats happened a few times with me however my wife has been around and like you unsure how to intro my lady into a scenario.

I think one of the last places of any consequences may have been the Crazy Horse on Davie, what now is Celebrities. One of the greatest experiences I ever had was with a woman I met there. This was the 80's and she worked for a stock broker, got in over her head, and had to pay off her financial losses. From my point of view, it was the best of all worlds. A beautiful woman that still lingers in my brain. My goodness, I'm really dating myself.

In the 80's and possibly early 90's I used to frequent the Penthouse on Seymour which was a well known place to pick up ladies of the night. I must admit I did help myself to the offerings a few times 
I would be curious to know if any of the very few strip clubs left in the lower mainland still sometimes have ladies working from their premises. Likely not.

All 3 strip clubs in Vancouver charge ladies cover charge these days which I think is absurd so probably not.
The Penthouse used to be right in the middle of the high track for street action. Those ladies were ducking inside to warm up or get out of the rain and run into drunk and horny guys. That high track doesn't really exist anymore, you really don't see any ladies walking the streets downtown these days.
