I got a flyer in the mail today for a supplement company that sells 15 and 30 day kits to cleanse your intestinal tract. Now, I already eat very healthy and take some top of the line nutrional supplements as well (probably cost more per month than I spent on food in University as a "starving student"
) ... but I heard that when Elvis died, he had about 40 lbs worth of "sh$t" in him... is that truth or exagerrated urban myth? If it's somewhat true, I wonder if taking this cleansing system for 15-30 days will allow me to lose a bit of weight. I'm involved in a couple sports where weight is a factor and I wouldn't mind losing 2-5 lbs of "dead weight" that is otherwise hindering my performance.
So, anybody tried this "sh$t" so to speak?
