My LVII Highlights:

- Kelce mom wearing one Eagles shoe, one Chiefs shoe. Way to go mom!

- Philly coach figures out how to get tears streaming out of both eyes during anthem. Reminded me of the Monty Python skit with the host rigged with a water pump shooting streamers.

- Tails. Perb is all about TAILS. I like picking Tails.

- Jalen throws and runs like he did all season. Showed he’s the resl deal. Philly O-line just awesome.

- Ref’s stole a TD off the Chiefs D with overturned fumble call. Watched it a bunch, still think it was a catch and fumble returned for TD. Regardless of which team benefited from what call, I hate it when ref calls impact game points, especially at pivotal times. (I yelled at the TV and threw shit around the room). Was OK with denying Reids challenge of reception for 1st down though, and the Philly D holding call leading to Chief’s 1st down was legit too. For the most part, pretty well called game.

- Mahomes did what Mahomes does. Found a way to win. That 27yd run late in the 4th down to the 17 yd line cemented the win, and validated MVP status. Would have been delighted to see a D-liner get the MVP, but no one stood out enough.

- Wow! Football IQ off the charts by McKinnon to slide down at the 2yd line instead of waltzing in for a TD. Allowed KC to burn the clock and secure the win without giving Hurts the chance to drive back snd send it into OT. How many times I’ve seen no clock management at end of game. THAT was super smart and refreshing.

Excellent game. Well done Chiefs & Eagles.

Eagles defence played like shit and the last holding penalty was bullshit because he would never have caught the ball. Great game as you said and MVP was the only choice

Excellent Superbowl IMO.
Love the game management of the Chiefs and the last minute strategy!
Maybe the only other SB that was as exciting was when the Seahawks fucked up their chance to win by not giving the ball to Marshawn Lynch who was on his way to MVP status in that game.
And the Halftime show sucked but what do I know of Rhiannon anyway.

Let us not be remiss to reflect as stadium cameras zoomed in during break upon the box of their newly-divorced 91 year old employer in the company of a rich widow.

The sushi was good. But for Superbowl, it’s all about the wings. Oooh baby baby. Bring on more of them wicked wings. Beer and sauces and everything deliciously slutty goes better with wings.

SP’s oughta consider having a bang ‘n wings session. Salt ‘n Peppa, Buffalo, Franks, or Siracha—don’t matter. Just leave the honey-garlic for another time. Lol. 🏈

Great game for the fans. Entertaining game and awesome halftime show!

When I see calls like the Defensive holding one very late in the game, it only gives credence to people’s argument that SB’s are rigged with a predetermined outcome.

I kind of wanted KC to win but not that way. KC coaches gave a clinic how to control the game to leave 8 seconds on the clock for Philly.

Philly’s O line was something to behold. KC had nothing to stop those short yardage situations.

good summary by Puntmeister

re post #2 "bullshit call" and post #7 "rigged with a predetermined outcome" (what are you smoking, lol)

FWIW..the Eagles defender what got called, James Braidberry(sp?) was quoted post-game as saying it was a penalty, he held Smith-Schuster.
Have to respect him for saying that.

Heck of a game!
