Yeah the basic idea was, buy Luongo out.
Trade Luongo, get nothing, and potentially keep some of his salary/cap on the books.
Or if we trade Cory, we can at least get a top 6 forward to play for the team next year.

Sounds like he sort of did. TSN spoke with him and looks like he isn't happy, and considered his time here over.
But its his fault too, if all of last year he was only waiving his ntc for a couple options.
I don't think Martin Brodeur will be interested in sharing his duties.Even tho' he's what 39, he still wants to play

His stats will likely improve over what he did here.
Maybe even a potential Vezina winner with them.
Making Gillis look even worse.
Like how Hodgson is second in scoring for the Sabres, or Grabner 70 goals for the NYI in the last 3 seasons.
