...

Brodeur is not at his best tonight. Hopefully he pulls through in the 3rd.

actually Brodeur has been crapping his pants for the last two months...

this will be the last action Brodeur sees in this tourney...

Luongo will be number one from here on out...

he is simply the best goaltender in the world...

the Canucks wouldn't even make the playoffs if they didn't have Luongo...

he probably steals them about 20 to 25 points a season...

I can't stand the guy, but his is a good goaltender...

he is also an effing crybaby...

he is a perfect fit for this wannabe village...

this village would put Clifford Olsen and Charles Manson on a float and parade them down Robson street if they helped the Canucks win the Stanley Cup...

Canada played terrible, and they were lucky to win. I thought the referee's were very slanted toward Canada. On the positive side this could be a a wake up call, because now they know they just can't show up.

Based on the play of Brodeur in the shootout, he will play against the U.S., and every game after unless he falters.

Brodeur was a wrong selection for this team–
his best days are behind him. an oversight by Yzerman.

and although Luongo had an easier game, I think he was better of the two.

You nailed it!!!

You'd have to be nuts not to go with Brodeur... Luongo is the most overrated goaile in the league. Yeah he's great in the regular season but he plays too much and is not a proven play-off performer.

Brodeur - 3 Stanley Cups - 98 Playoff games won...

Fluery - 1 Stanley Cup - 31 Playoff games won...

Luongo - None - 11 Playoff Games won...

Fleury should dress before Luo...
tell that to the bandwagons here!!!

Pffft it shouldn't have gone in to OT in the first place. The first one he let in was pretty weak.

Canada vs. U.S

Two points I will make: I would take Brodeur out and put Luongo in. We are outshooting them 17-5, but are down 2-1, Brodeur does not look good and this game is too important to take a chance on him coming around. Secondly, this game is so important to the American people that it is not even being shown live on NBC. WTF!!!

NBC doesn't do live broadcasts of the Olympics. The tape everything, put together a highlight package and air it in primetime.

I seem to recall that NBC tried to do a live broadcast on pay-per-view during the Atlanta Olympics (1996) and it didn't go ever very well.

What do you consider primetime? Most of the major cities in the U.S. are back east which means it would have started at 7:30 in the evening, you can't get any more primetime then that.

Mary is looking real shakey in this game. But also, the team in front of Marty is looking a bit tired in the 2nd period. Im my view anyhow. Loungo will for sure get the next game start. Guarantee!
Yes, give the U.S. credit, with the exception of the last five minutes, they wanted it more then Canada. If Luongo does not start the next game I will be shocked. Goaltending may end up being are undoing in this Olympics, Luongo better get hot, and soon!

Take it up with NBC. I don't do their programming. The point is, they don't do live broadcasts of the Olympics.
