When Lucy was a little girl, her mother took good care of her. Lucy didn’t do any housework, so she could do nothing but eat, sleep, play and study. Her own living ability was very poor, such as she wanted to break an egg into a pot, but because of her shaking hands, the whole egg was broke outside the pot, and instead of cutting a apple, she cut her hand. So she basically opened her mouth for food and stretched out her hands for clothes. It wasn't until she grew up that she became interested in cooking. She learned to cook by looking at the recipes, very serious and meticulous. One year during the Chinese New Year, she asked her parents to sit down and rest without helping her. She was busy for most of the day and cooked a 16-dish New Year’s Eve dinner. The family enjoyed it very much. Lucy no longer had to worry about her mother being too tired during Chinese New Year, and my mother didn’t have to worry that Lucy's living ability was too poor to take care of herself. At that time, there was already a refrigerator at home long ago and food was easy to store. The family of three had a sumptuous New Year’s Eve dinner, and sat in front of the TV at 8:00 p.m to watch the famous CCTV Spring Festival Gala on Chinese New Year’s Eve. They drank tea, ate snacks and cracked melon seeds and didn’t go to bed until 1-2:00am on the first day of the first lunar month, Lucy felt a lots of happiness and warmth at that time👨👩👧
