Low volume providers.... What does that mean to you? Is it under 5 clients a week? That is 1 a day for a Mon to Fri routine. I am assuming 1 hour min with most clients going for an average of an 2 hour appointment. So maybe under 10 hours of work a week (with clients).

What is considered a high volume? Over 15 clients a week? 3 clients a day, giving a weekly (mon to fri) total of 15 clients. I would estimate that these appointments would be 1 hour in length. With a rare 2 hour visit. So that would be working about 15 Plus hours a week.

So are my estimates off?

I would suspect my low estimate might be closer to 1 and 2 clients per week. So maybe 4 hours/week.

So that is a 4, 10 and 15 hour workweek....

High volume is the girls who work for a mama or papasan who have to do as many clients possible per day. Seeing as many as they csn physically fit in a long hour period.

Low volume is anyone who says they are low volume. Maybe only 2 clients per day. Maybe they can get 5 if they're lucky. Maybe there's a provider who does a 1k 2 hour minimum and sees 1 guy a week and she only has to see 4 clients a month. Maybe she sees 5 a week and rakes it in. It really doesn't matter as long as she isn't burnt out when she sees you.

Other than your numbers being way off, you’re not factoring prep time (body, hair, makeup, etc), travel time, and; depending on who is doing the scheduling, communication time.
Was only counting the time with the client. Yes I know there is more for preparation for the client.

Posting wild conjectures about how many hours a week someone is working is embarrassing.

I was with someone last week at 10am and she already had over a hundred emails. If she spent five minutes answering each that would be over 8 hours. If she doesn't answer them someone will post that she never replies.

I think I wrote this up using man-hours of billable time. For 4 to 15 hours work a week, depending on rate, a escort could make 50,000 to 360,000 a year (260-500, not including extras, assuming they work every week for a year). Usually a cash business. In Victoria at 2 agencies the min rate for 1 hour is 280/310. Some agencies escort are charging 400 to 500, not including extras.
So the min manhours of 4, corresponds to 1/2 day for normal folks, and 15 hours corresponds to just over 2 days a week. Considering the avg work week is 40 hours.

So take a 10 hour work week at 300/hour. That about 156,000/year (again working for 1 year, but only a 10 hour work week- aprox 1/4 time of avg adult). Mostly cash business. Now how much do you declare? up to 100,000 and hide the rest. That would be 50,000 tax free for a year at only 10 hour of work in 1 year. Pay only 20.5% in income tax. This dosen't include extras.

Tax RateTax BracketsTaxable Income
15%on the first $50,197$50,197
20.5%on the next $50,195$50,197 up to $100,392
26%on the next $55,233$100,392 up to $155,625
29%on the next $66,083$155,625 up to $221,708
33%on the portion over $221,708$221,708 and up

Just playing with some numbers. Remember that the avg Canadian family income is approx 76, 000 dollars.

The moral of this is that an escort can work 10 hours a week and make 2 X the avg family income. And pay whatever tax rate she chooses due to the cash income. And can take home 50,000 in tax free earnings.... and only pay 20.5% in taxes on income.... up to 100,000.

So it pays to advertise as low volume. And know how to hide that 50,000. (under 100,000 - max out tax free saving and rsp declared under tax income, then down payments for apartments if the market is good). Start a part time business (art, crafts etc). This won't work if you have declared more (over 100,000 ) in the past. Covid as an excuse. What about an only fans account?

Great business...

PS I left out expenses.

Disclaimer, yup all speculation.......

There are two morals to this:
1: you have no idea what you are talking about
2: speculation is not fact

These basic arithmetic posts show up all the time. Calling them junk science is complimentary. You note you left out expenses for example, but write as if your analysis is valid. You have repeatedly contradicted yourself.
I hope you don’t try doing real accounting.

Low Volume Providers are most likely college girls moonlighting in the industry to augment their needs and lifestyle just long enough for that substantial and self-sustaining post-college career to take off; all the while preserving the overall health of their mind, body and soul for family life once they're ready to settle down in the real world. They'll charge VIP rates, promising VIP service; like $1,000 for the hour, just so they don't have to bed with a dozen other guys in a short amount of time to make a similar amount.

High Volume Providers are obviously the exact opposite. The ones you don't really want to talk about in this industry, because there are many reasons why they need to service 10-20 guys in a day. Like trying to keep themselves out of poverty, or keep up their addiction, or a pimp's quota. Health of their mind, body, and soul is inconsequential, even to their clients, as they often have horrible scheduling, or zero time to wash between clients, you're probably tasting a dozen other guy's 'sloppy seconds' if you DATY.

But like what Charliee said above, it's just a marketing ploy.... A VIP, low-volume girl that can pull a $1,000 in an hour wouldn't just stop once her rent and tuition is covered. She'd bang 10-20 more guys like a High-Volume Provider just to make $10,000 a week and then asks herself "What's the point of even being a doctor or a Lawyer?". Clients themselves like the idea of a low-volume provider because they like the exclusivity, and the belief that it's 'healthier' getting a moonlighting college girl over using a human bunk-sock that the entire city uses.

I agree with Charlee. Low volume and high volume are terms that are thrown around carelessly and thoughtlessly. I was once railed at by someone in an email. She said that the person I'd referred to nicely in a perb thread was a "high volume" provider and should be avoided. Tacky and unnecessary, I thought!!

Remember also that many also have civvy jobs, or kids, studies, etc. , so they have to schedule carefully. Some dislike quickies, others are more into those.
And there are health considerations beyond just the issue of STI's. It's not just about money versus clean-up time.

You can drive yourself nuts trying to parse out every detail. Save the statistical analysis for some other subject.
The bottom line is that "low volume" is an advertising thing, but also a signal to clients over what to expect in terms of booking/availability. Take a good look and guess what sort of situation you are looking at; match your expectations appropriately.
