That big black dude Echo ( the drug dealer) revealed in the last esposide is one bad ass MF! Not saying anything racial thats just how the show went.
So many of the characters on that island have shaddy past. Like the little white guy with the British Accent who just digs drugs.

I watch the show too. I was hooked from the first episode. Love all the characters. I think the blond pshyciatrist (from the tail section - other side of the island) will become more of a key character. Her past will be revealed shortly.
Besides the computer countdown, the black rock, the hatch, the others, the polar bears, the mysterious french women, the black smoke that tears up trees - sucks people into the ground - and dismembers people, the biggest mystery of all has to be John Locke.

i watch this show too. started late into the series though. gonna havta rent some earlier episodes

I watch Lost as well. I didn't start watching until late in the first season, but it was pretty easy to pick up the plot lines. I did eventually get to see all the episodes of the first season when they started airing repeats during the summer months.

hahaha! You gotta spend less time pooning and more time watching tv. Its a fiction show but inspired by Survivor. Its not nearly as good as your stories but still compelling once you get into it.
hooked .. and when Eko stared down the black smoke, did anyone see the images in the smoke .. I have DVR (digital video recorder) and I could have sworn one of the three images I saw was Walt.
I used to watch the show, but there have been too many delays between episodes and for the most part, they have been boring. Doesn't hold a candle to 24!

I spend hardly any time watching TV, however, I pick one new show every year that looks interesting to follow. When it first came out Law & Order was my pick and look how long thats been going. Oz was another pick. Lost was my pick last year and unless it "jumps the shark" I think it may have another good three seasons.
One thing that I have noticed is that a lot of the Law & Order characters have come from Oz. Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje who plays Mr. Eko was the murderous drug addicted prisoner Adebisi in Oz. Likewise, Harold Perrineau who plays Michael Dawson was the wheelchair-bound Augustus Hill on Oz giving the running commentary on maximum security prison life.
Naveen Andrews who plays the Iraqui soldier Savid Jarrah got his big break playing Kip the Sihk bomb diffuser in the Oscar winning film the English Patient.

Lost has its moments, and I admit it's one of my guilty pleasures, but it's awfully uneven.
