Since Fiat took over Chrysler the product quality and customer service has really deteriorated. Things that should be covered under factory warranty aren't, and I don't know many tech's working for jeep that would say they are satisfied with their employer. Are there any other options available to you that you would consider? Toyota Sequoia? Ford Expedition?

If you want to buy a good quality new truck I highly suggest the Nissan Frontier PRO 4X with the 6 speed manual in the king cab configuration.I have 200K on mine and have never had a single problem.

Unless you are dropping north of 50 grand ALL chrysler products are garbage and built to break down.

And good luck with a warranty claim “I see you have installed an aftermarket mud flap, I’m sorry to say for that reason we are unable to warranty the leaking engine oil cooler.”

I sold my r/t Daytona charger last yr. I still have my ram truck with the same 5.7ltr hemi. The srt is a 6.4ltr I believe. My charger had a 70ltr gas tank and shut down to 4cylinders and if I drove it normally I’d get around 500km to a tank. Most of that was hwy driving. When I would punch it off the line or on hwy big difference in fuel LoL. My truck can shut down to the eco mode (4 cylinders) as well it’s a 2017 and it’s horrible on gas unless it’s hwy driving. I don’t even bother paying attention to how many litres per km I’m getting.

So bottom line if u want a suv that size and ur worried about gas don’t get it. If u want that instant power that the hemi sure delivers on then get it. But yes 100% it’s gonna suck the fuel big time. And double check as a friend of mine has a hemi srt hellcat challenger and he has to use premium fuel as well. The srt Cherokee is a sick ride though

Stay away I looked at one in the summer, 10 minutes of research turned up problems with the transmission, lousy fuel mileage, warranty not worth the paper it’s written on. A shame there really nice to drive.

You actually should have suggested to avoid purchasing ANY Chrysler product as they are total SHIT.Shit for build quality.Shit for engine/transmission life.Lets face it straight up anything made by Chrysler is a total Piece Of Shit.It does not matter which brand it is be it Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler it is just a SHIT product that is designed to fall apart within 5 years and also experience catastrophic failure.

I bought my brand new Nissan Frontier in 2017 and I was lucky enough to get a 6 speed manual.About 6 weeks later another courier I know bought a brand new Dodge Caravan. In those 3 years of ownership and hard use I have accumulated more mileage at 207000 KM than he has and I have done oil changes as needed and bought tires as needed. He on the other hand has done the same but has also had to replace his transmission and have his brakes replaced.I will be driving that SWEET truck 10 years from now as I am more than willing to pay the cost to fix the suspension components as they wear out.He will be buying another POS Dodge Caravan in I would say 3 years when the engine fails and then another one 5 years later.

Long story short is Chrysler makes a SHIT product that is built to fail by design.

If you're worried about fuel economy, you shouldn't be looking at an SRT8...

Chrysler has the lowest per vehicle production cost of any of the major auto manufacturers... That's why they ain't any good.

Next year Ram is coming out with a 700 hp half ton pickup...that is going to be a sweet truck.

Although the Jeep GC SRT is an awesome SUV!
I like them so much, I bought one, been 100% trouble free.

If your looking for a SUV the 2020 Honda CR-v is a very nice vehicle. My daughter bought one a couple of months ago and loves it. If we are talking trucks, I purchased a 2019 Chevy Canyon last fall and I am very happy with it.
