Locanto falling apart

Locanto used to be a site to contact amateurs. I had some fun there!

Now, they longer even give phone contact info,

and the half dozen times I tried to contact
someone it has always ended in a demand for a e-deposit.
in my view this site is now useless.

Agreed. Used to be a few hidden gems but doesn't seem to be that way anymore

I'm not sure I'd say Locanto was ever particularly "useful" (honestly I'd say it was more full of bogus ads than Leo & that's saying a lot), but I do agree that there were a couple gems in the rough to be found and now phone contact info is almost non-existent making it even less useful.

Not a surprise, free ad site with no moderation or oversight runs amok. It joins about 5 dozen other ones over the past couple of decades.
