Liquor Store Near Downtown

Any liquor store around Yaletown area with easy (and may be free) parking to pick up a bottle of wine on my way to appointment with an SP at 10.00 am.

I don't think they open before 9-30, do they?

Since there is only 30 minutes available, I don't want to waste my time driving around DT first looking for parking for the liquor store and then near the incall.

This is probably a pain in the ass depending on where DT you are headed and the time available before 10 AM. Just Google "Liquor stores Vancouver downtown"- you'll get a very good selection mapped out.
Or maybe pick up said wine the day before and slide it under your car seat to avoid detection from your SO?

I believe it's provincial law that liquor stores are not allowed to be open before 9am but I could be wrong.

I do know that the Superstore in Langford has begun selling wine but I've not purchased from them so I'm not clear on their policy.

There's one at 1108 Pacific Blvd. Opens at 9:30. I might be inclined to go the night before & leave it in one of those chilled insulated bags & save yourself the hassle.

I did think about picking it up this afternoon on my way home. But I don't want to leave it in the car because of warm weather.

I will try the one on Cambie, just outside downtown or the one on Pacific Blvd. I just hope I can find parking in time. I hate being late!!

The Cambie Street store has underground parking, quick access but go to the Pacific Blvd location. 3/4 parking meters out front. At that time of the day they will all be open. Quick in and out. Have a good one!,
