After years of sabre ruffling, This is what the Democrats put forward as their best and brightest? These are their Trump Killers? Seriously? Reminds me more of the characters from the game of CLUE.

Mrs White = Tulsi Gabbard. Hindu reincarnation of Denis Leary backed by Putin?. Spinny Head non-factor.

Reverend Green = Pete Buttigieg. Evangelical shining white privilege will get some money and votes but fall short of a platform for the masses.

Mrs Peacock = Elizabeth Warren. Lawyerish socialist wanna-be, but not Bernie. Bit too Old Crone for prime time.

Professor Plum = Joe Biden. Ya, Obama’s do-nothing partner. Mr Chumbawumba. Keeps getting knocked down and he gets back up again. Give him the longevity vote, but his skeletons will destroy his chances.

Miss Scarlet (oooh, aahh) = Amy Klobucher. Makes Bette Davis look moderate. Eloquent tantrums won’t cut it.

Col. Mustard = Bernie Sanders. This salty, abrasive truth-teller appeals to the young and down-trodden. Commie bastard keeps growing in popularity. Might just pull out the nomination. Will likely get whooped by Trump because in the end, Americans are a nation of Haves and not Have Not’s. Mind you, like Trump, he is not just a glib PC politician, refreshingly says what he thinks, and the Dem Pendulum may finally swing from PC fuktards that say whatevr to get elected.

Mr Boddy = Mike Bloomberg. May be dead in the race. Flat un-charismatic version of Trump wealthy dude likely politically deceased. Best CLUE guess: Mrs Peacock, with the facts, in the Debate Room.

OK, whomever emerges from this primordial sludge of Democratic candidates will need to get a real serious CLUE how to compete with Trump. Hating is not enough. Trying to be Everything to Everyone doesn’t work any more. Hmmmmm...

More to come...

As a Canadian, I have zero interest in and even less effect on what happens politically in the excited states of amerika.

Well, PuntMeister's post is totally lost on one who hasn't a clue about the game of clue. Think I'll go and read some reviews in the Massage section.

If you have all the clues then tell us how Canadians are going to impact the US election.

Just what we need another thread on US politics

Certainly bizarre and illogical conclusions drawn from my post.
Unfortunately an all-too-typical example of why I generally avoid the Lounge and its' resident trolls.

Nah, the lounge is great for identifying the racists, misogynists, American wanna-bees and ignorant morons. My ignore list loves them!

Most of the politics threads on PERB are dumpster fires, started by the same small crowd. They could have their own subforum or pinned thread: "Trump is GOD and Trudeau is the DEVIL !" and confine their griping to that. Instead, they just keep spamming the Lounge with new threads.

Even for people up here who are interested in this particular topic, the whole premise of the thread was "let's discuss all the ways in which the Democrats suck and Trump rules". Besides, there was already a thread dealing with it.

I truly hope Bernie Sanders gets the ticket. Then when he loses he can be locked in the basement with Hillary. The double talking asshole owns 3 houses and speaks of Democratic Socialism with no CLUE that no matter what word you put in front of it "Socialism" just does not work.He is an elitist whose mindset is "Do as I say..not as I do" which is the same ideal held by Justine Trudeau as he feeds at the trough whilst his multi-generational wealth is protected.

I usually pay no attention to USA politics but I just love how this is playing up for the next Presidential hustings in the USA.It could likely be Trump VS Sanders......which an arm wrestle with regards to what American Society is based upon.Do Americans what to embrace filthy straight out Socialism and reject Capitalism from which the USA was built from? Not likely is all I can say.

After this America will most likely hear from Angry Bernie again when he becomes an "also ran" and gets chucked on the pile.

Oh no! He owns THREE houses. What would America do to this appalling fact!?!? I guess America better grab them by the pussy and redistribute.

Indeed, it is shaping up a as classic ideological battle. Bernie and Trump have one thing in common—they both have a clear consistent message, whether you like it or not. Take On Wallstreet, Make the 1% [Rich] pay for free college and medicare for everyone, Vs. Make/Keep America Great. They understand branding, which is more that I can say for all the other candidates before them. This is the new political reality in the USA. So now we have polar opposites and the pendulum will either stay stuck at one end or swing all the way to the other. Sometimes it needs to do that to settle back into a more moderate middle, but the middle on both sides need to get their shit together in a big way for that to happen. That is what this thread is really all about. Not one side or the other, but the challenge to present better options than these extremes.

Bernie Sanders will not be the candidate for the Democratic Party. Most of the other candidates will drop out and move their support to the candidate who is being investigated for corruption in two countries, Joe Biden. They would rather do that then have Bernie as their candidate. Never a dull moment in American politics.

There is however, someone else waiting in the wings...ready to pounce and save the Democrats from the befuddled mess that is Joe Biden!

The lounge is a great place to read the same four people angrily agreeing with each other while typing every seventh word in all caps.

the comment wasn't about our "impact"

it's about the impact it will have on Canada

it was about his zero interest

our economy, goes as the US goes, virtually all our exports go there, many of our imports come from there

you don't think what happens in the US affects the rest of the world either?

we had an influx of economic migrants, partly as a result of US politics, which he couldn't have any control over, sure, which is costing our country hundreds of millions now and will into the next 30yrs

he might not get to vote, but he should care how it affects us, directly/indirectly

how we are going to have to react, unlike the incompetent Liberals have, depending on who wins

to do otherwise, is just asinine

like the saying goes, Sleeping with a very cranky elephant: The history of Canada-U.S. tensions

apathy, that's always a great solution

Great obfuscation about something that has nothing to do with Trump.

We certainly haven't had "an influx" of economic migrants from the US during their booming economy, record unemployment, and huge increases in minority employment, but sure, blame ecomonic migrants from the rest of the world "partly" as a result of US politics.

it's not just about Trump, never said it was, it's also about the possible Democrat too, Sanders would be a disaster for us

no economic migrants? really? lol

their economy has been booming since day one of Trumpf, according to him, it turned around the day the black guy was evicted, lol, hasn't stopped

what do you call the thousands upon thousands "illegal" "irregular" people walking across the boarder? refugees? lol

not an influx? they out number real refugees, pushing out people who follow the rules/apply properly, they will be costing us millions for yrs, but who cares, Trudeau has your unlimited pockets, right?

actual refugees can't afford a plane ticket to the US, travel to the US, they were/are/always have been economic migrants, they tried the US, then came north, migration of which were the results of Trump's statements along with our trump, Turdeau's tweet

so yeah, US politics has nothing/no consequences for Canadians, none at all

and they're still coming, you just don't hear about it in the media, cause they got other cause celeb to use right now, our own refugees :drama:
