I have become aware that I have a stalker that is a member of PERB. Let me be perfectly clear about this, the stalker is NOT an SP. It is a regular member.

Because of this, I will no longer be a contributing member of this board.

You should sent your complaint and pertinent details about the stalker to the Mods and have him get booted out instead of you having to leave...

Ignore doesn't work?

Works great for me.

Rather than walk I suggest either ignore or contact a mod to discuss.

Queston : How would a Perbert even be aware he was being stalked ?

Thats really too bad, because I find your posts to have a lot of insight. I especially liked your thoughts on the thread about the person having feelings for an SP. I thought you really nailed a few very good points. Sorry some LOSER drove you away..... xo

When you say 'stalker', do you mean someone who shows up where you live and work? Because that would be creepy.

If by 'stalking' you mean someone that posts on the threads you post on? That would be rather thin-skinned of you. Maybe public forums aren't the place for you.

So why would you leave ? If this person is a board member, let the board know who this person is. It might not solve your problem with this individual, but at least it would give a heads up to other board members that it might be wise to avoid this person. Based on another thread, I suspect that maybe this person has also identified you from/on other social sites and may be causing you problems there, more so than here.

I agree with you, Ray. Being bothered by comments and back talk is a bit thin-skinned.

Especially considering he rarely hesitated to comment about others from time to time.

This is the only thread I will speak in and only for a few days. I will address questions and comments.

Stalker will just come up with a bunch of diff names and ip. Especially easy if the person has a laptop.
Exactly true.

It isn't a question of someone engaging me in debate. This person is following my postings on this board. Ignore is irrelevant.

More the former, not the latter. I will not go into details but this person, through improper means that are legally questionable, has obtained highly personal information about me.

I do not know the handle of the member. I just know that this person is on PERB.

This is what happens when people comment when they don't know what they are talking about. This person has never, to my knowledge, ever commented on something I have written. I would suggest you withhold judgement on issues you do not have good knowledge about. It will help you to not look foolish and petty.

It's really hard to figure out what you're trying to describe here. To be blunt, it sounds paranoid.

I think that the problem here is, that nobody has any compassion or common sense. STALKING IS A CRIME. It brings a host of psychological fears to the table, and RIGHTLY SO. It is sick and twisted, and ILLEGAL. If a person says that someone has illegally obtained HIGHLY personal information and is possibly showing up somewhere OTHER than Perb, to harass them, in whatever way he is feeling harassed, then who are you to say he is paranoid, or a drama queen?
First hand, I have been STALKED and it is DISGUSTING, and psychologically scarring. Don't cast stones if you haven't been there. IT IS NOT FUNNY NOR IS IT ACCEPTABLE.

That is my rant, and I do apologize for becoming curt regarding this subject, but it is psychological warfare, and should not be taken lightly.

jnewton.......... document, document, document and file a complaint with the RCMP..... stalkers tend to be obsessive and sick, protect yourself by being vigilant and wise.. xo

Hard to have good knowledge about something when you won't share details. Their only option is to theorize and draw a conclusion from there. You suggest they not comment, because you don't like their responses, but by even posting this in the first place you are clearly looking for a discussion on the matter. Or was your purpose in posting this to simply draw sympathy?
