I remember when I was a kid going to Mara lake in the late 70s. Even then the level of the lake was dropping down.
I remember high school in Kelowna in the early 80s, and friend jumping their bikes into OK lake in Kelowna City park. So I was wondering if the OK lake level was going down.
But the level has stayed the same.
I think the population of Kelowna has double since then. So water usage should of gone up.
A lot of wineries have been built around OK lake since then.
The reality is that the OK valley area from Vernon south to the US border, with various Lakes. Its a semi-desert area.
So how has it maintained the level on the OK lake beside Kelowna?
