I watched the beginning only, but that shows how Asian ppl are so unhappy with how they look.
Coming from Europe I never knew one, so they are very new to me I just don't know them well
I feel so bad for them especially for the ladies, they all want to look like Caucasian ?
Round eye, eyelashes, different eye color etc..... So so sad to me:((
They all have beautiful skin, I saw nothing wrong with those ladies who went to get surgery , absolutely nothing wrong

Power and wealth always sets the standard for beauty. The power and wealth that preceded Korea's was set by the west, and this is the result.

Plastic surgery in Korea is just exploding recently. I read some statistic that stated that 1 in 3 people in Korea have had some form of cosmetic surgery. Pretty much all of my Korean friends have had work done. It's totally fine to improve ones self, but to think that you are going to look like a completely different person isn't healthy I don't think. It just goes to show you how strong the medias influence is. The effect snowballs. Once you get one thing done, you want more and more. People don't think about the long term either. Many of these people don't realize that these procedures need a comprehensive follow up and potentially more surgery. There's complications and risks from anesthesia and infection. There's a black market of bunk doctors and many don't know the difference between cosmetic surgeon and plastic surgeon. Lot's of misinformation going around. The video makes it seem like a walk in the park when I know firsthand it is anything but. I had my nose worked on twice when it was broken in a horse riding accident many years ago. It never ended up the way I had hoped. But the pain and recovery was so brutal, I think I will just leave it the way it is.

It would've been a walk in the park if it had been done right.

The cosmetic surgeons in Canada are amateurs compared to the ones in S.Korea. If you were to go there they would inspect it and probably tell you that you had shoddy work done. They do so much cosmetic surgery there (particularly facial) that they've become the best in the world. Even their breast implants are better done there than the United States.

I love those V shaped jawlines and those almond eyes of those Korean stars. I think the ladies of the Korean media world look incredible and always seems 10-15 years younger than they are.
I think Korean culture is very interesting. From the ultra competitive schooling to the peer pressure to look good to how fast the economy has risen over a short time ( Hyundai, and the Republic of Samsung) to the incredible challenging language.

Sorry duster. But no surgery is ever a walk in the park. Anytime you are moving cartilage, bone, and muscle around, there will be trauma, bleeding, bruising ect. I also have a difficult time with anesthesia. I saw a brilliant surgeon in Europe who was originally from South America. He was fantastic. Some jobs are just more difficult than others and there's no way to know for certain how a surgery is going to go. My nose is fine cosmetically on the outside, it's the inside that's messed up.

I'm wondering how you developed this expert opinion on our amateurish Canadian Plastic Surgeons?

I've had a family member go through two cancer related operations with massive reconstruction that has healed remarkably well in a very short period of time. On top of that there was 5 1/2 hours of micro surgery reconnecting blood vessels and nerves. The same plastic surgeon also donates time to war torn countries to reconstruct innocent 'collateral damage victims'.

Diminishing the reputations of these surgeons on an anonymous board is quite appalling to me.

Let's just say that I've known two korean women personally who have had surgery done here and then had corrections to those surgeries done in Korea, in the best possible place there - the Gangnam district. The result after the Canadian surgeries were obviously mediocre. The result after the Korean ones were excellent.

Expertise in this area is attributed to predominantly the number of surgeries over pretty much everything else. That's why they are the best at what they do - because of their population density and the enormous popularity of cosmetic surgery - they don't have hangups about it here with all the stupid moralizing that we do.

I don't think getting work done is bad at all and should have no stigma to it, after all we carry our body 24/7. Don't see why people who put on a carbon fiber hood on a Civic don't get called vain.

I bet those before/after pictures are about as accurate as Asian LeoList ads. Pics shows a 20 year old beauty but 50 year old auntie opens the door. Nope, just not buying it

No wonder about it those pictures are fake as fuck. How gullible would you have to be to believe those are real.
