Is finally taking the stand today, to defend herself against the charge of murdering Reena Virk.

Just curious what the general consensus is, and then when the trial is over it would be interesting to see how accurate we in perbdom were.

To be honest I'm not sure what I believe will happen yet, and I have allowed multiple choices, so we can have an accurate vision.

Ok I voted but I wish I could be sure she is found guilty, and would like to change my vote to "I hope she will be found guilty."

How many years did this case drag on?

I've loosely followed these events, I thought that she got convicted ages ago. Didn't know that things had dragged on now for what almost eight years? What was the holdup? Even that "man" was willing to provide testimony against her. Thought it was a cut and dried case.

I think she got out on appeal cuz they made a mistake during her first trial, but I'm not sure exactly. Him testifying now against her doesn't really count cuz she can blame it all on him being bitter, and the word of a convicted criminal doesn't hold much water. He already did what Carla Homolka did to Paul Bernardo, testifying against him for a lighter sentence.

Either or her life is fu*ked. The stress and her criminal record has ruined her life for good. Which I'm glad.

That girl is F*cked in the head and she obviously doesn't learn from her mistakes. She's living in a halfway house facing murder charges for beating and drowning someone and what does she do, goes out and beats up another woman in the park. She is a menace to society and deserves a long jail sentence.

I think the death penalty is too good for Ellard ...

if she had admitted to it ... shown some remorse, she would have gotten the kiddie-trial and be out free and clear today ...

instead, she demonstrated that she is a spoiled brat who should be publicly flogged and then hung by her feet from that same bridge until she is dead ...

gives her lots of time to think about it.

I doubt she will get off, but even with a 10-15 year sentence, the time-served comes into play (and it is counted double by the justice system, for some stupid reason) so then time off for good behaviour, she may be out in 5 - 7.

she'll make someone a fine bitch in prison and she deserves whatever justice they serve her.

For the other girlfriends it starts off with peer pressure to join the leader, in Kelly's case she was the leader, so she can't blame peer pressure.

We've seen girls pick on one girl before, but in this case, Kelly was even able to talk a boy into helping them.

After her recent episode in New West (where she beat another person up because that person wouldn't "lend" her a cellular phone..... I say, fry this LYING SACK-O-SHIT'S ASS!

We need to fix our laws and get rid of the "faint hope" clause for these friggin' violent offenders..... Even if someone get's a "LIFE SENTENCE, with no parole.... because of this f*cking "faint hope" clause, they DO eventually get paroled..... so WTF is up with dat?

Ya know this is just another pathetic example of our justice system. The only reason her first conviction was thrown out was because the prosecution asked inappropriate questions.........WHAT........just brutal. So she get's another trial and one dissenting vote wins her a mistrial...........but because she is an idiot( New West Assault) at least she stays in jail awaiting yet a 3RD Trial. Now watch her lawyer bitch because of all the publicity where will they find 12 impartial jurors that don't already have a formed opinion of what's going on.........perhaps the NWT..... What a Gong show the Virk family has handled themselves with so much class and grace through this and so far 0 Justice!!
