Eventually most people will come into contact with the virus, no matter how careful society is. That might take a month or two.
My estimate is based on that, plus the two week period for the disease to develop.

There are a lot more stupid and irresponsible people around than I thought, so the spread will be very difficult to manage.
At some point everyone will come in contact with the virus. Do you mean here in Canada or worldwide? Because China’s numbers are already starting to decline and they only reached over 100k infected.

Are you saying Chinese are now immune to the virus and have returned to unrestricted normal life?
Or are you trusting the claims of a regime that censors all media and arrested early whistleblowers who tried warning the world of the virus?

Not saying Chinese are immune at all. But when someone says “we will all come in contact with the virus eventually” I need some context. We, as in Canada? We, as in the world? If we were all on a path to getting the virus eventually the growth curve would be way steeper than it is. The numbers don’t add up

This^^

I do not trust anything the CCP claims. Months ago, while the coronavirus was being downplayed in the media as being "no worse than the flu" I saw videos of numerous Chinese people collapsing in the streets, and, more recently a very horrific video about people who were dying, but still alive, bound by their hands and ankles and thrown into body bags apparently for delivery to be incinerated. This gave a whole new meaning to the CCP's claims of "no new deaths by covid-19"

The Chinese are good people, but the CCP regime is pure evil. But I'll give them an A for their propaganda efforts.

If you want an idea of how many have been exposed at any time in any country look at
https://medium.com/@tomaspueyo/coronavirus-the-hammer-and-the-dance-be9337092b56

The numbers you are seeing now represent only those cases that were bad enough to be identified. The number that have been infected are likely to be many times higher, depending on the type and extent of testing and reporting. We will only have relatively accurate numbers after blood tests for antibodies are widely used.

The numbers to watch are how many people need hospitalization, ICU beds and ventilators versus how many of each are available and how are those numbers changing. The number of sick is wildly inaccurate and not all that relevant.
