i just heard from the reporter and the documentry for radio about consumers is done!!it will be airing on monday's version of the current. the reporter said it turnedout really well so i am hoping it goes over well!!

Anna Maria Tremonte....or something closely resembling that spelling....hosts the Current. It is aired weekly on cbc 740 (am) and cbc 93.9 (fm). I love the cbc because it does not require advertising....it is just a steady uninterrupted stream of programming touching some amazing music...and some hot button issues. I suppose the podcast will be found at cbc.ca or cbc.com...not sure which one they list themselves at. I would bet .ca.

Ask not how to get there....rather ask how to assist others to arrive to that place. I borrow that thought process from many people I admire. They are the good ones, and we all know at least one of them.

I liked it as it was nice to hear the "other side", but I didn't think it painted a really accurate picture.

IMO 70% of pooners are just horny bastards who want to get a little on the side or have the experience of fucking someone who is hotter thatn what they usually get, or indulge a sex act / racial / fantasy fetish.

There's maybe 2-5% who are power control idiots

And the rest are guys who probably couldn't get it any other way due to being too shy / ugly / disabilities etc.

I notice the right wing(nut) researcher was American. Perhaps they couldn't find a Canadian researcher who would spout that jibberish.

That feminazi was something else. They mentioned she "counsels" Johns as part of their "treatment". I wonder how many opt to take the time instead.

wow...stunning....and compelling. I would have to listen to it again to get the details correct...but I won't, once was enough. I loved the interview with the geeky soft spoken guy who was central to it. I loved that the feminazi was given time in the middle and, in the all important closing remarks. I loved the researcher from UBC. And, of course, I loved that susi brought our attention to its existence and her remarks therein.

In my opinion, it was a well cut interview showing compassion and reason. Well done CBC. Don't for a moment, imagine that the tape on the cutting room floor could not be gathered up, and formed into a 22 minute show of an ENTIRELY different nature. The feminazi is given more time, the geek makes two mistakes, and the researcher stutters. We draw a different conclusion no?

Control the media, control the populace. Thank you CBC for your continuing existence, it cannot be an easy one.
