This is what multiculturalism means! In some culture, when you seriously and critically analyze everything, death penalty is justifiable!
Hmm, that's not the definition I have in my dictionary....I don't understand what you're trying to say; that in some cultures you are executed for seriously and critically analyzing everything and that's justifiable? What the hell are you saying? This is just gibberish.
As for Devo....really? We don't need a death penalty in Canada. We just need gulags on Baffin Island...ok, seriously, we don't need to lower ourselves to a baser society like Texas, or other countries or states that have it. We, as a society must raise ourselves higher on a morality that most righties think they alone inhabit, to not kill those that murder, rather spend the rest of their miserable lives on bare basics, alone, forever until natural death takes them.
Instead of depriving them of life, which is a release from responsibility rather than facing decades of punishment, interment and isolation. I support complete removal from any societal connections, family, etc...but the death penalty is really just for the public, not the family of the victim.
If they have to live the rest of their lives robbed of a loved one, then the murderers are removed from life's freedoms and pleasures....Blue skies, tasty food, news of the world, tv, radio, internet, family, friends, children, lovers....4 walls, cot, blanket, toilet and sink. No paper, pen, books, pictures, colour, smell of flowers, change of season...you get my drift, a living death until death natural releases them. Pickton, and the like tossed down a deep hole as described, toss away the key. Death penalty, too quick and easy a sentence. How about the next 30-40 years in isolation, no windows, total climate control....always the same 3 meals, never ever changing, nothing until the end. Makes purgatory sound like a holiday in the sun.
No....death penalty is too easy.
