Is this Hobby Right for me?

I've been married for 8 years and am a bit bored with sex with the same person. My wife is very open minded and understands this desire for variety, though she doesn't share it. We have sex probably twice a week, and I jack off every other day. She is okay with me seeing escorts, but we both are worried about STDs/STIs and about supporting unethical things (traficking etc.) I've done a ton of research on this and understand there is going to be risks to both of our health if I go down this route, which isn't awesome and should kill the idea in my head. I know we can't talk about STD stuff here, so I'm not looking for comments on that. However, I still want to do it. The desire will not die. I've tried things like porn and VR porn and it still lingers.

lol thanks. I'm just having trouble jumping in. Everything life life has risks. I drink casually, drive a car, fly in planes... I would just hate to bring something nasty / untreatable home from a BBBJ, but from all my research it seems like a pretty low chance.

I also don't want to support unethical things, but in Vancouver there seem to be plenty of legit providers. Thailand, I may have to be a bit more careful.

I think you’ve got what many would consider the golden ticket of the wife being down with you seeing sw’s. Not having to do it in secret would make things so much easier.

On the health perspective, you’ll have to navigate your own risk tolerance. There are cbj-only/no kissing providers who are taking lower risks for themselves and also for passing it on. If you want less restrictive services like cim then it’ll have to come with more risk. I could be wrong on this but Thailand sounds infinitely more risky than here though…

On the exploration front: there are agencies who have a track record of treating their ladies very well (2274 and coco stand out consistently from convos with ladies but I’m sure many others do too). I also take low turnover as a sign of a healthy agency.

There are also many independent providers who are highly sw positive and active on social media. I feel pretty comfortable saying that these ladies are doing it out of their own volition and it makes me feel safe going to them.
