Is Telus Mobility blocking Perb?

Is it safe to submit your username and password thru proxy sites? I figured they could easily then collect that info, since they're just acting as a middleman with your info.

I read somewhere it could be at Perb the issue and the mods have blocked Telus IP ranges.

Why would Telus just pick on Perb and no other sites? Makes no sense.

I tend to agree that this is a perb issue with Telus. I find I can hit the home page. But a soon as you try to select the index, network connection is lost. That sounds like enough time for an IP check and blocking logic to happen. It would be really nice to get a response from a Mod or Fred Zed or someone with some Perb credentials!! Silence is suspiscious!

Definitely some thing between telus and perb . I just got a new smart phone through Telus and I can 't access perb through it ether . and my Telues stick is still blocked too ... Lucky I still have a open WiFI in the area.

And if it really was Telus blocking, then why would those with home Internet thru Telus be able to access?

I wonder if Perb's IP address has somehow become blacklisted (not censored) by some ISP's? Odd thing is I have no problem connecting to Merb for example.

Aren't the mods interested in getting this resolved?

Can any Rogers users let me know if they are able to access Perb with their handsets?

This is strange.

I can go to erslist and even TERB with no problem. When I try to get on to Perb it tells me the webpage is unavailable like its offline or something. Yet, I can go on my laptop and here I am.

Try different browsers on your phone? I had good luck with puffin when my phone was giving me PERB problems..
Downloaded Dolphin for Android and got the same thing. Me thinks evil lurks at Rogers.

I didn't change a thing on the settings and tried to log on this morning. It worked.

it works for me, but I find sometimes these things work only when your are connected to a WiFi network. for example I tried it tonight from white rock beach, no go, but got near a restaurant with wifi and logged in, then it worked fine.

Telus is my cell provider, and PERB did work without wifi the once that I tried it. I dont want PERB on my phone, too many other possible issues. But some things that you can access do have to be wifi.

Are you worried at all logging in thru a proxy site like Puffin and typing in your password? That it might not be secure Since it doesn't go thru Perb directly?
