Okay guys, its not telus. I have shaw cable & internet, and mobilicity on my phone but who knows what network they're on. The only way I can access perb is a proxy server, whenever I try to go through my straight connection, it simply says "unable to connect". At first it did what it's doing now, completely blocked connection, then for a while, it would connect and eventually it would stop...So maybe it's shaw AND telus? UGH Anyways, I've already messaged Fred but no reply or acknowledgement to the thread which means he's probably busy. How can they block this website because of complaints? Why are humans so stupid still?

FUCK, now it stopped working AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why WHY

Okay, well it has to be SHAW, because on my phone, I forgot that I left the wi-fi on in my house, and when I turned it off, it works on my Mobilicity network. So it's SHAW AND TELUS motherfucks that are blocking PERB... WTF

As of Wed. morning, it's still not back. Maybe it is related to the mods blocking certain IP ranges? A mod hasn't yet commented on this issue and their take on it.

I was having the same problem with Novus and could only access through proxy as mod had suggested. That went on for 2-3 months and all of a sudden somehow fixed itself. Seems like the perb servers might be the issue here.

I`ve been having the same issues with my mobile. But there`s a simple solution - A little reminder....Someone on here a while back suggested going to hidemyass.com, go to web proxy and then type in https://perb.cc. Works every time. As well, using a different browser like puffin also seems to work like a charm. Yeah, it`s a few extra steps, but it works!

Do you really think TELUS gives a shit if you are visiting some review board?

In the past they would log your browsing history but due to expensive legal battles they have discontinued that practice and put privacy first.
Same reason when your wife logs into your online account she can no longer view all the sent and received SMS messages. Client privacy trumps all!

99% of the time it is user error. Next time it happens take out the battery(with the phone on) for 2 mins and try again.

Oh and as far as TELUS being a shitty company, what other carrier will pump in over $3 Billion in infractructure upgrades in and around BC over the next few years?

maybe ^, thats what happened to mine too...assholes cut me off, tv is horrible now. It seems pathetic to have a box with a separate remote for 3 channels that I watched from that side...

Has anything changed for anyone here who was also having issues? I still can't connect via the cell network. If it's Perb blocking certain Telus IP addresses, can the mods please comment?

I was on rogers wireless, no problem accessing...and yesterday I switched to telus and can't access perb on 4g or 3g. Then I tried to connect via wifi, no prob. This seems like the problem is with telus, and likely some kind of virus filter that is dtetecting that the site is doing something malicious. It doesn't surprise.me though cuz the bulletin board software perb uses is amateur garbage, and combined with the way telis.operates, its no wonder.
