It's odd. As of today, I can't access Perb anymore on my smartphone. No problem accessing using Wifi, or a proxy app like Puffin on the cell network.

Can they have decided to block it? So wierd!

Is this a sign I'm on Perb too much? Lol!

I can't exactly call their tech support and ask!

I'm having the same problem, but it's not only my phone it's also my computer (shaw)...the only way I can navigate through perb is on hidemyass.com lol to mask my IP. At first I thought I've been shunned, and cleaned out my cache/cookies, but most of the time when I use perb with no ip blocker it doesn't load.

At home thru wifi with Telus Internet no issues though. I didn't think they'd block a site unless it was requested by the police?

NP on wifi this morning as yesterday, but yesterday could not hit any page on cell data. This am, can hit the usage agreement page, and the index page. But as soon as I select a perb link on the index page I get the message "Cannot Open Page. Safari cannot open the page because the network connection was lost". Tried sponsor links in the index and they work. IE Eros, Cityvibe etc.

Hmmmm?

I would be very surprised if they are blocking Perb since its all about $ and $ comes from you using their data service on your smartphone. I surf this place while on my Rogers phone without a problem. Only wifi hotspot that ever blocked perb was Whole Foods with a big font red letter warning etc bwhahah.

Have you checked to see if you can go to other porn sites?

I've been having the same issue of not being able to connect on 3G through bell..(this is the only site i have the issue with). Wifi works perfect but the issue is always intermittent.

I was having the same problem on Wind and at home on my laptop. Had to use a proxy for a long time until it resolved itself. Mod said i wasnt blocked and couldnt figure out what was happening. I would call Telus, fuck 'em so what their job is not to judge you!

yeah once in a while it lets me through on my computer, and now it just says "unable to connect", so i'm here with an IP blocking website, it has something to do with IP addresses obviously.

I just turned off my wifi and couldn't connect. Keep getting "safari was unable to open the page as the network connection was lost"

I'm still having the problem. When I spoke to telus they made me do all sorts of shit with my phone like updating the software and resetting network settings even restoring my phone. Basically wasting 2 hours of my life so that they could generate a service ticket for a problem we knew wasn't the phone. The tech support guy on the phone said that the telus network might be blocking the site which he said could be because they have gotten complaints. Last time I checked I pay for data services, not censorship.

I haven't heard back from them yet so I'm not sure what their final excuse may be.

So as a follow up, shortly after my earlier post, coincidentally got a call from Telus tech support from Toronto. The guy there could access perb no problem on the 3G network. He had me try a whole wack of stuff including some IP tracking to try figuring out what was wrong to no avail. I mentioned to him that the previous tech guy I had spoken to thought that it might be that telus was blocking perb. I said its probably only the Vancouver telus server and that's why he could access it from where he was back east. He said that that might be the problem and that what he had thought was initially the problem wasn't it so he would look into it further and get back to me.
