Just wondering...For a Board that is suppose to be frequented by open minding people we sure are closed mouth when it comes to posting. No real relevant information...no information forth coming when inquires are made...Every positive post is met with the "Shrill" comment. I made a inquiry which I would of happily posted a review on but got NOTHING for help or information. No PM from providers either...Do they even bother coming here?...I know on other boards I post suggestions are forth coming and relevant and I post accordingly....Providers quickly respond and offer the service I'm looking for and and I honour there request about a review or not....Here you get the always persistent questions why I want greek (why do you like blow jobs??) or directions to a greek restaurant...(like the thousand time for that)...Vegas boars and Toronto and Montreal is so much more helpful but here its really weird

I find that the Edmonton and Calgary areas are greatly lacking as far as anyone willing to share info. It is always the same few people. Being from Winnipeg, I can tell you that area is much more active on Perb. not sure why Edm and Cal are the way they are.

Here
In terms of the edmonton/calgary section, perb has been dying the past few years. There was a point a few years back when there were a couple drama filled threads. In the aftermath, some pooners were banned, some SPs were banned, and the board suffered over all. As well, not long after that, perb did a crack down on non advertising ladies (a lot of whom had just recently had advertising that had expired). I know from a couple ladies, that after they got banned for that, they never bothered to return. With fewer ladies advertising here, and the slow down in reviews, a lot of people just migrated over to the other board.

On a funny side note, when the Edmonton section of perb was vibrant and busy, it was requested to have a separate section for edmonton advertisers. Back then it would have been very helpful, this past month we were finally given that section, after most of the advertisers have already left... Kind of like closing the barn door after the horse has got out.

Apparently you never read my response, as I did make a recommendation on your thread asking for intel.

It`s not just Winnipeg but other cities in Western Canada.https://perb.cc/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?10-Vancouver-Reviews Unfortunately some parts of Canada are still backward as far as Social Networks go. If people don`t want to share info and save each other $, it`s not the fault of Perb. Maybe some of the guys prefer to keep the gems to themselves.....LOL

Lower Slobbovia
I've noticed how few members are viewing on the other Prairie forums compared to Winnipeg. At any given time there are usually more members viewing on Winnipeg than the rest of the Prairies combined!

The Winnipeg Forum is so useful it's indispensable. Really helps steer Pegger-pooners in the right direction time and time again.

BUT it could be because there is nothing else to do in Winnipeg EXCEPT hump SPs (if LE and City Hall will still allow that). The city is deadly dull. There is way more going on in Alberta than in River City. Albertans likely spend less time on PERB beacause they are spending more time hitting the bumps at Lake Louise, going to cool clubs, and so on.

Whenever a Winnipeg pooner walks into the hotel room of a traveling SP, he can be confident he has found the hottest action and tourist attraction Lower Slobbovia has to offer that day.

Between the legs of a HOT SP!!
A few thoughts.........

I think that Dark_Knight got it mostly right about why a lot of people left. For myself, it was the drama filled threads, the numerous trolls running amok and MODS that basically ignored all the shit that was going on here. I got fed up with the trolls, a few certain arrogant posters, the drama and the unresponsive MODS to all that was going on. A reply made to one of my posts was the one that made me decide that it was time for a change and I left for greener pastures without all the mayhem.

Some left before me, quite a few left after me and now PERB reaps what it has sown.

Backwards? I think not

I do not agree with the comment:

I believe that namssa's post and this snippet hits the nail on the head:

Unfortunately Edmonton's PERB section is full of newbies and a number of folks who after 8 years on the board have very little contribution. The value of a review board is give and take. There seems to be a whole lot of take with very few giving, kind of like the economy in Spain & Greece. :). All it would take for this to turnaround is for a few of those sitting on the sidelines to suit up and join in the game and report their score.

I agree with your entirely.
You should look at the rest of the PERB board and indeed the rest of our boards across Canada. Perb is quite active both in terms of traffic and advertising. Many of our PERB advertisers are travelling ladies from other parts of Canada and they are quite happy with the feedback they are getting from PERB. Calgary and Edmonton are just a small part of our total operations.

I think a person can be active on more than one board. I appreciate reading the Winnipeg section as ladies travelling from East to West will often stop there first. There are a number of us in Sask that post on both Perb and the other board. The rules there are more relaxed as far as providing links to a review which causes posters to migrate there and is something Perb could consider if utilization continues to dwindle.

Sorry GPguy.

I got roasted for giving reviews. A number of Perb member took me to task on my reviews and judged me for some of my experiences, Some SP were not happy with my reviews or my tone or who I am so they refused to see me. So I got it from both sides no point posting reviews or worst no point coming back to Vancouver. I now enjoy TO better. I learned my lession do not post and no one knows so no one gets pissed with you. I just watch and learn.

For a number of members of Perb your opinion is not valued and it is a shame as the good guys loose out. I still hang out because I have a lot of respect for a few members but I am not willing to put myself out on the chopping block anymore.... not here anyway.

I do not see VV or Sandi on here anymore and a lot of the SP I enjoy are like me they just pop in to see what is going on and then pop out. What is the point anymore of posting anything. If you say anything they either think you are full of BS or you are lying, or bragging. So why bother.

Just my thoughts on your comments.

By the way I still think Perb is better than Terb. I do not participate due to my experience here anymore. It just is not worth it anymore.

Which does explain why the Edmonton and Calgary sections got neglected for so long......
The forum is basically a free service to the hobbyist. Our format is working very well for many years now. It is the same format for Calgary and Edmonton as we have for other cities across Canada. It does not matter to us if people in Edmonton or Calgary choose not to use the forums.

Sounds like something a domestic automaker would have said in the 1970's.

If hobbyists quit using the forums, why should the ladies advertise here? It would seem everyone should have a vested interest in increasing participation, the owners of the site most of all.

Of course we do. And of course participation rates here at PERB are excellent. They may be poor in your local city but that is not true of the site as a whole. If you think otherwise you are mistaken.

So Fred, something I`ve pondered for a long time now. Just how busy is perb ....big picture wise? Not comparing it to lets say ... TSN.ca or globe and mail ..etc? But....Just how popular is Perb on a scale? Nation wise or region wise?

Is there a way of knowing how many people reallly know or heard of perb?
Quite busy for a regional board. Some stats here: https://perb.cc/stats/

Edmonton
Edmonton and Calgary are dead and the reason is mismanagement. Trolls were allowed to run wild, people who never posted reviews but just chose to troll. Constantly engaged legitimate reviewers in flame wars, people from the other forum made accounts and came here to troll.
Also the issues other users brought up.

There was a time that if you didn't read perb Edmonton for a week you would have two pages of reviews to catch up on. Now we have 15 threads in 30 days...

When reviews posted here generate hardly 80 (other forum 800) views... It makes people not care about posting new reviews as who the fuck is going to read them?
Last week I saw 3 new girls, 2 BP 1 MP. 2 have never been reviewed anywhere online before and one has been reviewed but not on PERB. Have I posted reviews? No.
Why should I? Last spring in one month I posted 20 new reviews and as with the vast majority of my reviews they are often on girls who have never been reviewed before (anywhere online), what was the point? There's no one left to read them.
I tried to save perb by pumping out a ton of reviews and even offered to TOFTT on any unreviewed girls anyone wanted to suggest, it did nothing to help matters.

Fred has posted more in this thread than I have seen him post on the whole of perb Edmonton and calgary in the last 10+ years, too little too late.
I dont expect one guy to manage merb terb and perb and all their sub sections, however how hard would it of been to make some of us mods to deal with the house cleaning that's needed on any forum.

Out of my 150+ reviews they can only be read on PERB and TERB as I don't post on any other forum and only use other forums to find if a girl I'm interested in TOFTTing with has been reviewed.
I enjoy doing reviews on unknown girls but what's the point when theres no one left to read?

I have given mod 2 my suggestions on how to help PERB edmonton and who know what Fred will do with those.

Yea as always Edmonton/Calgary don't matter when compared to the amount of paid advertiser revenue Fred gets from Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver so he can afford to say fuck off to Edmonton/Calgary.

I appreciate that Fred built a park for us to play in, however he's not doing anything to maintain or improve it when compared to the other forum.

Am I going to leave perb Edmonton? Not likely however do I have any incentive to use these forums? No, there's nothing of value left as a consumer, I know how to talk to girls and feel them out in the meet and greets (and even on the phone) and unless they lie out right I can tell what I'm going to get, so I don't need other people's reviews.
