Is paying for sex making us men lazy?

I am beginning to wonder if paying for sex has gotten me lazy in my relationship/social skills.

I don't have to care as much about staying in shape, I don't have to put any effort into making conversation if I don't want to, I don't have to wonder if "Am I going to get to first base tonight? Are we going to have sex?"

It is too easy to remain single indefinitely if you make pooning your hobby. I mean there are always new ladies coming an going. I just don't want to be in my 40's, 50's and beyond and have had tons of sexual experiences (memories) but no relationship. It almost seems to me that if I will be so rusty in the dating scene if I ever do retire, that I am going to have some challenges dating.

Anyone else experience challenges dating when you get out of this hobby or look to cut back so to speak? I mean don't get me wrong, I have had some great times, and met some great women, but eventually you want to have something meaningful. A steady girlfriend, a wife, etc. How will I ever do that if I continue to poon?. Doesn't seem likely to me. I am just ruminating.

Answer is yes. Can't be bothered anymore and knowing I have a sure thing once or even twice a week makes total sense to me.

Doing the chase and having a GF of 10 years play games became a waste of time for me. I haven't looked back since and I have made some nice new friends along the way. Some ladies that know what a man needs and won't hold it back if you pay to play.

Actually the opposite happened to a friend of mine who was very much in the hobby a few years ago and when he told me that he was moving to Vancouver about 2 years back, I had a feeling he was gonna end up attending those SAA meetings afterwards because of the number of beautiful female companions in this city of ours. Not with me. I find it's a nice way to get things jump started if you are in a slump or getting out of a rough relationship. What is has done is not to be a slave to women and jump through hoops in order to get with them. It's not about laziness. I still work out four days a week, watch my diet, and do my best in school. Unfortunately, d/s/r is the one area of life where results are in no way correlated with effort. haha, I like your response. Very well put, you certainly put a different spin on the topic than I had thought of. If not for the whole having kids, etc then pooning would be the most logical means to an end, and the path of least resistance.
