Importing Cialis

I got an e-mail from a friend visiting Thailand,asking me if I knew if tourists can bring Cialis(bought there) into Canada and,if so, how much quantity.

Since I don't know the answer to either of his questions I'll put it out there.....does anyone know about this?

I'll pass on any info to him.

This is a bit of a guess:
Cialis, Viagra, etc are not illegal in Canada BUT you need a prescription to purchase it. IF his luggage is searched and the Cialis is found they could ask to see his prescription and confiscate it if he can't produce one. This is just an extrapolation of what happens if you do a mail order - if the package is stopped, you get a letter asking if they can open it. If you say no, they toss it. If you say yes, they open it, toss it, and send you a letter warning you about the risks of buying prescription drugs without a prescription. Sometimes the package isn't stopped, sometimes it is...

yup, if you arrive in Canada with prescription drugs in your possession, you will need the Rx label from the bottle etc.

I got a lecture once for having a few sleeping pills in my toilet bag. I had a prescription but not in my possession since I only took enough pills with me for the trip to Eastern USA. They let it slide since it was only a few pills but said I could have been subject to a fine.
