How healthy is it?
How well has it been cared for?
How old is it?
Male or female?
Does it come with a environment (basking shelf, heat lamps, thermometers, humidifiers, heating pads, etc)?
Why are you getting rid of it?

Your Iguana would not get along with my pet. You really need to meet my pet and you would understand. In fact my pet is bigger than you ... but you would love my pet ....

LMAO at you Eden, you're sooo funny!!!

I'll take your iguana if you have the gear for him, and I promise I won't let gobble near him/her!! Bad gobble!!

Chuck, she sounds serious, have you gone to get your bunny yet? How could you leave your bunny in the lurch like that? Your bunny needs your love!

Iguana's

I have two iguanas, male and female (they are a mating pair). But if you are looking for iguana babies, it is too difficult to incubate them (trust me I tried-not because I wanted more, but because I felt that it was my obligation to try and save them) They have had two clutches, in excess of about thirty eggs each. They are healthy adults, their length is about three feet. I actually got them from an add in the paper, I didn't really want them (I just wanted to look because I had never seen adults up close and personal) when I saw their living conditions I knew I needed to take them, the guy sold them for fifty bucks including heat rock, light, and huge ugly pieced together cage. I have since then bought a brand new uv/uva light and encasement, got a new cage made (it cost me three hundred dollars) and took out their heat rock as recommended by the vet. Both are healthy, but a little aggressive. I make no qualms about it that they need someone who knows about them or is willing to learn prior to them leaving my house. They are not a beginner pet (I have four other reptiles besides the iguanas). The female used to be very submissive, but after her last clutch became a little more aggressive. They both can be handled, but now will take a bit more effort and affection. They enjoy swimming in the tub at least once a week. If they get out the female will hide normally on the floor underneath or behind something, the male will find the highest spot he can. I am not wanting to keep them anymore because I think that they would be happier with someone who will take the time with them. I have done what I can and they are comfortable, but would benefit in a place where someone could give them more time and understanding. If I do find an approved place they have a cage, food (flakes and crunchies), uv/uva lights, heat lamps, cage foilage, heat rock (if you want, but not recommended as they do not understand how long to lay on it, or when they are burning, etc) pretty much everything to get you started, the cost would be negotiable not extravagent. And as long as everyone understands that they do not eat meat they are vegetarians by nature.
PS Chuck do you want the bunny? It is a good pet for ya.

Lisa,
If you want a reptile a bearded dragon is a great pet. The thrive on human contact and are easy to care for. If my eggs hatch (debateable since its only my first real time trying) I would be happy to let you have one. If you would give it a good home. The are omni's, by the way.

They truely are fun pets to live with and learn from. A little on the big side so space is an absolute must. But for the right person I will show you how and teach you all that I can.

Mario doesn't want to play with my special Cat. He wants to look at my iguanas. Right? Because that is what we are talking about. And Silkrose still has a semi psycho bunny that needs a caring and nurturing home. Any takers?

No, they don't take up much room. They maybe grow to be 18 inches long. They are called Australian Bearded Dragons (maybe you were thinking komoto dragon?) when they get mad they puff up their beard and flatten their bodies to make them look bigger, it is supposed to look ferocious, but they just look cute (maybe to another lizard or flea they look mean). They enjoy being handled and I have taken mine with me to the mall shopping and the grocery store. They like being under your shirt close to your skin to keep warm (all you perberts out there-I know what you are thinking on saying, but keep it to yourself it is non sexual) and will stay there as long as you want. They are also a great conversation piece in the mall. They don't bite and like to eat king worms, crickets, fruits, vegetables, noodles, and rice. Very versatile eaters, but require vitamin supplements. If you are interested when they hatch I will let you know. If at some point in time you want to check them out, just pm or email me.
