A police officer would never expose his genitals, nor be allowed to accept sexual touching of his junk,
or vice versa in touching the prostitute. Same went for johns. A legit female officer couldn't expose her breasts or genital.
Some police officers did have sex with prostitutes and charge them after the fact. They also used civilian agents as proxies.
Ladies often grabbed my crotch to test me, on Davie and Granville but not the high track on Georgia.
I never dealt with a female police officer.

The old days were not better. I'd go along the stroll and right behind the ladies were their pimps. I saw how many get beaten by their pimps? Dozens.
In my teens I saw a lady get beaten badly right in front of the courthouse on Georgia as dozens of civilians watched, too scared to intervene. Gave me a lifelong hatred of pimps. And a disgust at people who watch but do nothing, especially pussy whipped guys who talk big but are really chickenshits.
There was a semi-organised pimp network that flourished in Western Canada. They had their own bars in Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg.
If you travelled a lot you would see the same guys hanging around the strolls in all three cities. They provided ladies with crack and sometimes got them pregnant.
They faded out in the early 90s.

I remember a time before the internet killed the street scene. And although I got seriously jacked with the glorious whore tour of the ‘80’s Davie/Robson back-alley days, we are so much better off now where indies can ad/screen/thrive and fucktard pimps and thieves have been kicked to the curb.

When WYSIWYG moved on-line and was backed up by PERB reviews, the pooning world became a better place for all. I do miss the fresh smell of a new Buy n Sell, and surfing the back pages of GS or Monday Mag. Some incredible gems were discovered there, heightened by the adrenaline rush of risking it all, having few qualified options. Now, I am like kid in a candy store, yet somehow the candy requires less imagination to taste. Safer? Yes!! Edgy? Not so much. I love where we are, and remain nostalgic about the past.

I worked at the KEG below the Swedish touch and used to deliver food to the girls working there wishing I could’ve afforded one.😥
In my naive times I went into the keg a couple of times and passed by Swedish touch not knowing what it was. Just assumed it was a massage place, like any other. Learned what it was way after LOL

The "past" for me in this escort biz is the mid 80s, I cruised the DTES, Richards, and Davie. Davie at the time was mostly CDs and TSs. Best luck was usually a side street off Hastings east of Main. After about 3 Experiences I found a young gal I really liked and pretty much stuck with. Only one bad experience, After the session I headed to the local pub, to discover my wallet completely empty. She had picked up an extra 50 for her trick. After that I stuck exclusively to my regular.
There were ads in the Straight and Buy & Sell, But they were for escorts, and to be frank, I had not figured out that Escort = Hooker. Anyways, I was happy relying on my Fave from Pender&Gore.

I had a regular early in my pooning history who moved from the hi-track (not in Vancouver) to one of the first indy's in our city with a website. She would tell stories about being able to fake penetration with a condom, lube and her thighs, ass cheeks, especially if the guy was drunk. Matter of factly told me stories about ripping guys off for 1000s of dollars because the streets made that easy. All while I was having the time of my life with her for $275 an hour in 2001 or so. Long since retired now, but her stories scared me off the streets forever.

Ah. Pickpockets. Had two. One car date DTES. Got a phone call next morning from my bank. Somebody was trying to use my credit card and an alert was sent out. The girl from the bank didn't really try to hide the contempt in her voice. Suspect was a black girl, mid twenties, trying to use the card somewhere on the DTES. Do you know this person? yadayadayada.
Embarrassing. Amazingly she only took my credit card. At least she observed some professional courtesy by being selective.

My cousin got rolled by a sw on the downtown Eastside during the Fraser River sockeye run in 1990, picked up the girl near that sub sandwich shop just off Hastings and took her back to his hotel. He was pretty drunk, passed out during the session and lost over $12,000. We gave him a pretty hard time when he got back on the fishing grounds and he learned a very expensive lesson

Just out of curiosity, how did he lose $12000? Was he carrying it in cash?

There was lots of cash buying in fishing way before that, i would often have over 100k on board buying herring in the dark and you ran out the japanese would just bring more. It was pretty cool and interesting. Played monopoly often with real money for fun waiting for openings. Dating myself.

It was cash, guys didn't trust cheques because once they got your fish, there was no recourse if the cheque bounced. The most I ever saw was $100,000. My dad and uncle were fishing herring in the late 70s before the bottom fell out. They were getting paid $10,000/ton cash

I remember years ago seeing dressed to impress over the top ladies with big fake looking lips and large breasts on the streets of downtown vancouver wanting $500 just for some time together but at most that was enough to just get them in your room. A buddy I knew ended up getting scammed for like $500 after going through the stages but ended up with nothing. Once they have the money you are shit out of luck. I have no clue if the same type of ladies are still working the downtown streets of vancouver? If so don't even chance it. The amount of drunk dudes on the weekend getting scammed must of been a pretty big percentage. Imagine blacking out and seeing all these high charges on your bank the next day. I would love to know if somone ever made it to the final stage and ended up getting action with one of these hyped up to good to be true ladies.

Old prospector goes into town and heads for the saloon. Asks the bartender where he can get some action. Bartender says go upstairs to room 201 and knock on the door. Guy goes upstairs as told and knocks on the door. Guy's voice says "what do you want?" He says " A piece of ass" The guy on the other side says "slide twenty dollars under the door" The old prospector complies and then nothing happens. After about 10 minutes he loses patience and starts pounding on the door. Voice says " what do you want?" Old guy yells "I want to get fucked!" Voice on other side says "what? again?"

I miss the days of driving around looking for a hot one, that didn't look stoned, stopping, she jumps in, you negotiate a price, and then driving to the sawmill parking lot, ornher place, having fun, then drop her off and go back to work.
We need more of that again.

No ripoffs? Baloney. I had $2700 stolen from my by a pair of street walkers who went to the ATM with me, watched me input my pin and then stole my wallet while having sex with me later. Another SW stole my wallet from my pocket while taking my pants down in the car.

You'd drive down the road and pull over, never quite knowing whether the woman you were picking up was a cop. For the women, sure they'd ask you to pull your pants down so they could touch you but cops aren't stupid and stuck their fingers through their underwear. Lots got arrested falling for that one.

Life is way better today for everyone, especially for the women.
I think anyone who would withdraw his money without protecting his pin and then leaving that same card unguarded would have this coming to them. Not all Sp's would do this. But almost all street walkers would. The rest of your post is weird.fingers in the underwear? What are u talking about?

thanks for victim blaming.

As for fingers in the underwear, back in the old days, cops would do stings on streetwalkers. The ladies figured a cop would never show them their dicks so the ladies would ask the guy to prove they weren't cops, by unizipping and pulling out their dicks. The cops wouldn't show their dicks but what they would do is unzip and and stick their thumbs through their underwear. Some of the ladies were dumb enough to believe this was their dicks.
