Carry on, it's still safe

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.cc

.cc is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Cocos (Keeling) Islands, an Australian territory of 5.4 square miles (14 km2; 1,400 ha) and about 600 inhabitants. It is administered by VeriSign through a subsidiary company eNIC, which promotes it for international registration as "the next .com"; The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus — a country the UN does not recognise, considering it to belong to the republic of Cyprus — also uses the .cc domain, along with .nc.tr.

:D I assume it has something to do with Bill C-36.

I've noticed a couple of issues since the change over.

Blogs: At the bottom of the index page, there is still a note that there are 58 blogs featuring 256 entries. But when I click on the "58" which used to bring up the blogs list, it now leads to a page that states: "There are currently no blogs." If I go to my own profile page, I can still access my own blog posts from there, so I know that they still exist on the site but when I go to the profile page of another member whom I know had blogs posted (I tried badbadboy and BadgerJohn as my test), and then click on "View blog posts," I get a message saying, "BadgerJohn does not have a blog yet."

I also noticed that the chat doesn't seem to currently be working.

On another note, I am also noticing an odd connection issue. Not a glitch exactly and it's not exactly slow. It just seems kind of choppy in how it loads on my end, if that makes sense. It's almost like the pages load up but it takes a few moments before I can actually interact with the pages. And banner ads seem to be taking a bit longer than normal to load.

I think you need to clear your history and empty your browser cache if you've not done so already. I can see all the Blogs alright when I click on the BLOGS link at the top. Chat is up but the Chat link has not yet been restored.
The connection may be a bit slow sometimes due to SSL encryption.

Also not performing is the "What's New" feature [ chronological listing of recent post (even from the Gulag) ].
I usually start each new PERB session by quickly scanning " What's New ".
Will look into that thanks

I've tried it on 3 different devices and it's the same on each. I know that Ms. Erica has recently added a new blog post to her previous ones, so hers is now the only one I see a link for on the blogs page. When I click on the link at the top of the page, I only see her previous blog posts as well as my own. There are still no links for any of the other site blogs on my end. Can anyone else confirm if they are seeing all 58 blogs or if they are having the same issue as me?

I have the same thing happening ... yet I see mine and hers, but not yours. And there are 58 listed, but not viewable.
