If I were ummm unattached, I'd likely spend a lot more. Given that there are other eyes on the bank account, I have to funnel money out so really only get maybe a session once or twice a year.

Take out 50 bucks every pay period as “ petty cash “ for misc spending. Then you can see someone every 2 months

My condolences, vicaznguy. Once or twice a year! Hope you find a way to slice up your income so you can funnel more into your pooning budget. Not easy if your spouse or gf controls the finances or if you only have joint accounts.

Yeah. I'm slowly funneling money. Thing is, I already do take $50 every pay period for personal purchases and I am also an avid cyclist. Anyone that knows cycling knows that is also an expensive hobby so I have to pick my spots when I can!

I also work from home and between school schedules and other half working schedule (mornings only), it makes random trips out of the house a little more suspicious. I really need this pandemic to be over; that way I can say I'm working from Starbucks when I have enough saved up lol.

That said, I do love this forum for sharing information. It helps me narrow down who to see when budgets and time permits.

Put your bike on your car and say you are going to a trail further down....but instead of going to the trail, you will have a couple hours to do the deed. For the personal purchases, use your debit/credit card instead and pocket the 50. And your explanation would be the 50 is spend over and above the miscellaneous personal purchases. Just an idea.

And you don't even have to lie about it.

"Yeah, hun, I wanted to take a ride into the bush today. You know, where the beavers hang out. There were so many birds and bees. Ah, you probably don't remember"

Well, something along those lines.

T=You could also say I saw some wild melons near the bush, they were quite large and firm (or variation) and that made me hungry so " i had a light snack and dined at the Y". They had a special on fish and so my breath may also smell like fish though (but that is not a good thing) lol.

Hahha I have thought of that...except bike theft is rampant in Victoria and I'd probably come back to a car without a bike and that would be hard to explain and even more expensive to replace.

I basically just need to do what the rest of population does when they run into money issues! Start a GoFundMe!! No joke; I work with a bunch of people from the US and we were debating the different health policies between our countries and one said, we do have universal healthcare. It's called GoFundMe. In retrospect, that's a pretty sad sentiment.

I find researching to be one of the best parts of the game. I see so many eager men thinking with the wrong head and getting bad outcomes = money down the drain. Researching has saved me lots of $. If your spending cash flow is low researching is the key to ending up with a greater experience. It's better to save up for that one highly respected great experience instead of low balling for mystery experiences. The time I splurged without a care was when I was at a resort in Mexico before covid. Never ending flow of knockout 10 out of 10 Spanish beauties. It was insane. $240 1hr. No bait and switches. 100% authentic photos. Curves to die for. That experience was like floating on clouds when compared to a local scene that is filled with bait & switches, e transfer scams, fake services, rushed services, boyfriend's jumping out of closet's bullying you out the door, party drug garbage and whatever else. If you want to be on the safe side here look for agency's and providers who have a reputation to uphold with a long list of good/great reviews.

I did some math.

Let's say I've been doing doing this for 20 years.

An average of 25 per year during that time.

At an average of $100 per event.

That's $50,000.

Even if marriage and relationships slowed me down to half that rate, still $25,000.

50 grand is not bad for 20 years of fun though. I mean , if you had a 5 dollar latte /day (which admittingly i have 1 -3 per day) , that cost would 36.5 grand in 20 years. When i hit 65, would i have reminescent of my sp's or my lattes? I still recall some of my favorites sp's from years ago. I already forgot what my morning latte was like.

$600-1000 a month on average but I make 105k annually and can't stand modern women outside of paying them for services

Oh wow looked like this post got really popular.

For me, I justify this hobby expense as and when I make money through stock market. So far, I’m breaking even 😂

Haha. I’m just curious as to how old are you right now? I don’t drink coffee so this doesn’t work for me 😅

I really thought I had replied to this thread, but I guess I just started writing a comment and never sent it.

For me, I don't think I've ever topped more than 1K in a month (or at least not in a long time). I do keep track of my spending (both by year, month as well as by provider, so I can see things like how much I've spent on a particular SP), and have been doing this since mid-2019 or so. It does vary a lot (sometimes I go a month or two without seeing a SP, other months I'm quite close to the 1K mark).
