I just signed up with koodos and they have up to 3 gb of data per month. Wondering if that's enough? Went with them cause of the unlimited voice and the data part is cheaper than fido.

If you using for phone for entertainment like listening to youtube videos daily it will burst very very quickly thru 3GB. I use about 10-15 GB per month.

I stream Internet radios on my way to/from work 5 days a week (~2hrs each day) plus the occasional stupid/pointless/but-must-watch youtube video, and of course daily check-in's of this website :p

That averages around 3-4GB a month usually but I imagine I can easily keep that under 3GB if I cut back my Internet radio just a bit

It really depends what you do...

If you're just checking email, web browsing, maps, occasional videos and such, 1GB is more than enough.
I average about 600mb a month.. I also tend to use wifi when I'm at home which cuts down on data use as well.

As long as you dont watch video or tether you don't really need that much. I average about 300 MB a month, never even come close to my limit.

I use to have a HUGE data plan but, then I realized when I am at work or at home I just hook it up to wifi. After you setup each location once your phone auto connects.

There are sooooo many locations that offer free wifi including airports, restaurants, and hotels. You might have to be in a certain area for some hotels for their free wifi.

I got the 6 GB plan from Rogers when the iPhone (Smartphone Plan) first came out. I am hard pressed to use it all each month. Typically for email, attachments, surfing, uploading pics/downloading pics etc etc. Most I have used was a week long trip where I had to tether quite a bit and exceeded my 6 GB.

So if you are looking at TV shows, Youtubes etc etc you will need to load up on a data plan. 3 GB should be sufficient.

I have the Rogers 6GB plan as well, split between my iPhone and my rocket stick and I rarely go over 4GB unless I stream a lot of TV

I got the 6gb $30 a month plan.
Even if I spend 1-2 hours a day on my phone and tethered to my playbook. Maybe 1-1.5 gb a month.
Unless you are loading movies 3gb is overkill.

I use wifi at home, and now at work. I imagine my data usage will always be under a gb from now on.
